Dems Latest Scheme: ‘Balance’ Supreme Court by Adding Two Liberal Judges

Yes, I posted before you changed it. Democrats are indeed the ones who got this started. The GOP is continuing it. As a result, SCOTUS has become a political arm of whoever's in power. The next logical step is to pack the court when you're in power. The Dems will certainly do this. The thinking is obvious: half a loaf of a Supreme Court is better than none, and the base won't tolerate conservative control of the Court for decades. They just won't, ESP. if a conservative court begins doing things like overturning Roe (which has 65+% support).

 

The Court has been "packed" before. Several times.

 

Obama squandered his political capital, thats why he could not get a justice.

Republicans play by the rules, democrats dont have any rules.

Can't say that I blame them. The majority of voters, meaning individuals, didn't vote for Trump or Bush, so 4 of these justices ought to, by their account, have been appointed by Gore/Clinton.

Roe is just a fearing mongering dog whistle. It isn't going anywhere and I highly doubt gay marriage will either. Even if Roe by some miracle was overturned, it just falls back to the states, so those in Blue states have no danger of restricting their baby sacrifices .
