Absolutely untrue. They're NOT SUPPOSED to vote, it's ILLEGAL for them to vote but it's exceedingly easy and difficult to impossible to detect. We do not require people to prove they are citizens when registering. Just declare it by checking a box. Hell, the Democrat Party of Texas just got busted sending out otherwise blank registration forms with that box pre-filled in. So saying they can't or don't vote would be like removing the ID requirement to buy booze and simply pretending underage people aren't doing so.

The point is that once a person asks for asylum no matter under what parameters they cross the border they are entitled to an asylum hearing with tax payer supplied representation which will take months if not years.

Any other issues concerning this person as to when, why and how would be subject to litigation under current US law. Depending on the resources provided by those who promote such persons anything is possible in the US court system.

Let's just make it simple and easy: Modify the 14th, retroactively apply that modification and watch them scurry out faster than a NY Minute.

Go ahead and play make-believe that denying refugees has anything at all to do with border security. I've read the Constitution, I just don't share the fantasy that people moving here for a better life, and to save their lives, constitute a military invasion. The tooth fairy is a more convincing fantasy than that nonsense.

'Working around the clock' - yet yesterday, the only two items on his schedule was receiving the WH Christmas Tree and lunch with Pence. Apparently, it IS good to be king...(RIP Tom Petty)

Are you in need to labor which you cannot attract with the wages you are offering?

Nobody works around the clock, especially those who reside on this website daily?

Then one shouldn't say that, should one? Especially when it concerns the tax rates of one's citizens...

That's a cool story, but by no means does Mexico's offer of protection (to the extent that story is real) preclude these individuals from applying for aslyum in America.

Since you can't prove a word of your bullshit post, it's just another scary story to motivate the trumpettes.

Produce 1000 ballots cast by illegal immigrants. Hell, produce 10,000 ballots cast by illegal immigrants if it's so easy for them to vote.

    I'll wait....................

International law recognizing asylum is pretty clear that the refugee must seek asylum in the first country they reach. In this case that would be Mexico. Meaning these aren't refugees. Both Mexico and the Hondurans have failed to live up to their responsibility under international law, but we are supposed to live up to ours?

Someone who gets asylum IS a legal resident. We already have laws about this, trump doesn’t get to rewrite them on his own.

I can't believe I'm seeing people who are actually gleeful that our country is opening itself to people from some of the most violent and deadly countries in the world just so they can mock a guy they hate. These unskilled low IQ people won't be endangering Trump or his family and they won't be jeopardizing their jobs or schooling, that calamity will fall on other Americans. I just need to keep repeating to myself that the more of these people we take in, the safer our country is.

380 out of 100,000 white people are in prison. By contrast, 966 out of every 100,000 Latinos are in prison. I won't even touch the third group.

If you have to say that something is "clear," then it is probably not very clear. And this is a perfect example. The notion of first country can apply, but the circumstances under which the asylum seeker must stop and accept that offer depends on a whole host of factors that are often dependent on the individual seeking asylum as well as the circumstances of the country which is offering that asylum.
