As a fellow Christian, I certainly do not share her belief.

 

I think she's right. . . . God is punishing us for our sins.

 

Trump is the antithesis to EVERYTHING Jesus Christ stood for. How Christians can rationalize hitching to his wagon doesn't cease to astound me.

Funny, you must have a different, more vengeful understanding of the all-loving and all-accepting god that I was taught about.

If god is the way as described in the bible, I don't think he would deny members of his flock based on their political beliefs.

Sanders is a beast who looks like she's rotting from the inside. There's nothing she can do to cleanse herself from the filth she's been rolling around in for 3 years...so she tries to justify her disgusting lies and traitorous behavior. She's disgusting and vile...like all of the trump crowd.

She'll never be able to erase what she is and what she's done...never. Neither will anyone else who's supported trump.

 

As a fellow Christian, do you reject Sander's right to believe as she does?

 

god is a fiction of weak minds... they need someone to blame & forgive at the same time... it's the 'easy' way out...

 

One of the prime objectives in the creation of this nation was freedom of religion. Everyone needs to have some perception of something greater than themselves, values that keep them in focus, brings order and purpose, and stabilizes their course in life. The truth is that the weakest and most inconsistent people are those who do not have that. I am not religious, I do not believe there is a god. However I absolutely believe in a higher power that provides those values to me, directs my path in life and has given me the ability to control my own destiny. It makes no difference how you define that greater thing- but one thing is certain, those who have nothing to guide their way- have nothing, no compass, no path, and no future. They drift from one logic to another without understanding purpose or objective. Everything is temporary, there is no clear goal, no functional plan to get there. Except of course- to criticize those whose beliefs are different.

 

Sarah Sanders is goofy.

 

I suspect Sarah Sanders would be far more forgiving of Democrats than the tolerant lefties are of her.
Love Sarah Sanders who so subtly aggravates the malcontents on an hour by hour basis.

You don't need a higher power to have values. Our values are genetically encoded in our brains. A child who has never heard of god or any other higher power can feel compassion and empathy for another person and act on that feeling. The reason behind this is that the human species has genetically evolved to be a social species. In fact, social isolation leads to physical problems, that's how much we are dependent on interaction with other humans. Religion is just a manifestation of those intrinsic values that MOST humans have (of course, there are always exceptions to the rule, for example people who are unable to feel empathy or compassion, i.e. sociopaths).

 

He opposes abortion. Which to many Christians (include me) is the greatest immoral act committed in the U.S. over the last 50 years or so.

He has spoken out against the brutal oppression of Christians overseas.

All in all this easily outweighs a couple of divorces and three or four consensual extramarital sexual relationships.

 

Well......JESUS is the all loving one.....GOD is the one who wants entire civilizations slaughtered for not worshiping him.

 

Why would he deny me? Just because I am agnostic? I think of myself as having been a good person throughout my life, so I am not too worried about the pearly gates.

You, on the other hand, seem to have an understanding of god that is excluding rather than accepting of others. I don't think that goes along with the teachings of Jesus.

Funny you only think liberals are smart enough to have figured out there is no invisible man in the sky. My wife and I aren't liberals. Neither one of us have ever voted for a Dem and never will. So there's that : )
