They were fighting for something they believed in, just because you don't agree with their cause does not mean they were traitors. Do you think people born in the south today are traitors as well.

 

I was simply stating legal fact. If the school has an established rule that was understood before accepting the scholarship, then the scholar athlete that is being paid with education/scholarship must abide by those rules or accept the consequences.

The fact is, I don't believe this university has this rule, so I believe these athletes have the freedom to kneel for the Anthem. Do I agree? Not a chance! But NEVER have I said they should be expelled.

 

That is like saying these scholar/athletes don't have to abide by the curfew rule, which we all know exists. They do or there are consequences, up to and including losing your scholarship. If the university had an established rule that scholar/athletes must stand for the Anthem, then they must abide by that rule or accept the consequences.

I do not believe this university has that rule so there is no rule violation here. I am just stating facts if they had a rule or if other universities have a rule for the same.

 

And for clarification purposes, scholarships include cash payments that vary by university! Look it up.
