    Never heard that. I have heard that had the Captain taken the berg head on, it would have collapsed a fairly small bow compartment, and that would have not been enough to sink the ship.

    Because they turned, the iceberg ripped down the side and opened up a number of compartments on one side. A ship's hull is no match for an immovable block of ice that big. Maybe the New Jersey would have a better chance although below the waterline you don't have the battleship armor and that is where most of the ice is. Now the state of New Jersey would have a real good chance. ;) Especially if Chris Christie and Spartacus man the beaches.

    In my area, 0.8 is considered drunk.

    If you are caught driving, at 0.3 your license is suspended and you get a fine while 0.8 gets you straight to jail with a criminal record.

    Nowadays I get tipsy from a beer and drunk from 2 glasses of wine, its not like I am 16 again(I could drink at that age)
