I don't click posted links to read someone's opinion piece. I will discuss opinions on the Forum with members. It's always best to think for yourself, speak for yourself, and not promote others. Opinion articles don't persuade me.
--On the subject of "voter suppression". Those who say republicans are trying to suppress the dem vote by restricting polling hours or requiring voter ID are admitting the democratic voter is a poor, low discipline, low energy person who doesn't have the smarts to vote with a mail-in ballot, or figure out a way to get an ID, or can only vote after 7 PM. If that is the case then maybe it's best that that person not make a decision on who is best to lead our country.

Basically the restoration of the blue wall is also the restoration of our suffrage under democratic incompetence. The program is bankrupt with just senior citizens, it's under no condition to massively expand but having failed to learn from the ACA, we're going to endure a much huger poison pill.

The exact same applies to you - except change the name Trump to Liberals.

Dems do not want "open borders" - Dems to not want abortion after delivery. Aside from the fallacious generalization - this is nonsensical falsehood.

Second - what does the "Green Dream" - which I agree is way over the top - have to do with the Socialist Agenda ? WTF are you talking about.

Last - are you not aware that Red Establishment are even bigger "Socialists" than Blue - certainly with respect to wealth redistribution.

 

Reform the drug companies and administrative costs before making government the sole provider of Health Care. Which BTW will make costs higher. There's no argument to cover the fact that medicaid is already bankrupt serving just senior citizens! This isn't red or blue, this is numbers crunching. We suffered this to an extent with the ACA and at least that kept private insurance so it wasn't as bad.

But completely eliminate private insurance and that's hundreds, not tens of thousands, over 100 M citizens added to the system.

And while I'm at it, I'm going to debunk Krugman's theory on health care. You know, the whole "Young, healthy people can subsidize the care of the elderly". There's two critical flaws with the theory: 1: It presumes(with absolutely zero basis in fact) that the "Young, healthy people" will actually remain such. Then there's 2: That said people who are either in college or voc. tech or full time workers can actually afford it(This is partly why they themselves ended up dipping into the subsidies themselves, if they didn't outright make the financially prudent decision not to opt-in at all which ended up undermining the subsidies market itself.

Because of these factors, even though health insurance companies saw it as a de-facto bailout due to the individual mandates they didn't anticipate the huge surge of costs due to increased medical usage(Combined with the fact that Health Care is an inelastic market) Meaning that health supplies will never match the massive demand. This was made worse with the health plans wherein by law, plans had to cover other items that otherwise wouldn't have been on there. But be rest assured, even without that stupidity the costs would've increased.

It just guaranteed it. In short, medicaid for all is the ACA x 100. And it's why I can guarantee you, we will enter a depression near the end of
a democratic presidents first term. And like I said before: Can't blame Trump for this one.

 

Too bad they were all located in NY/CALI. If this were the Liberal States of America, HRC is president. Tragically for her, the midwest and the South exist thus depriving her of the presidency.
