Maher brought up the point of whether a different prosecutor could have reached different conclusions. It's a fair point. We won't know until we see the report. Maybe there's nothing shady in there. But it's hundreds of pages long and, based on the illegal behavior of people close to Trump (like his campaign chairman) and the lies told about Russian contacts, it's plausible there might be some really bad stuff in there, and another investigator might have decided differently.

 

I don't think there's any doubt Trump won't leave if he loses in 2020. That has nothing to do with Mueller and everything to do with being a narcissist.

 

For 2 years been telling me Mueller is awesome and they will accept his findings. Now he's just a pawn of the dictator doing his bidding.

I can some what...mildly respect this perspective. However, did you see the full episode? He is 100% convinced collusion just got covered up and Barr and Trump are behind it. This is delusional at the least to say...my mistake for expecting rationale from Maher who always uses logic and reason when it comes to religious debate but not here apparently.

Maher is an absurd twit. I'm not surprised that you would value his view. But he is right. This isn't over, just not like he means it.
