Cohen was too busy slithering right along beside his client. I think we have giving this man ample time to come through. He went 'states evidence' months and months and months ago and has bargained his way through the entire process. If he wants to provide Manhatten DA or a legislative committee with more information, let him do it from his cell. The verdict is in the sentence came down, now its time for him to settle his bill.

14 million files... that's quite a lot...

Every moment the spend going through those files is a moment aren't spending trying to destroy and fundamentally transform America into a global socialist police state.

 

What, did you think the (currently unread) Mueller report was going to cause there not to be an election in 2020?

I can assure you that you were alone in that thought..

 

Here is the problem I have with this:

1. Cohen is a proven liar.
2. The FBI raided/searched his house, his office, his car....every known place Cohen was known to have records.
3. Where were these 14 million records hidden?
4. Why didn't Cohen give them to Mueller when he was arrested.
5. Why did he not mention these records to Mueller (If he had the FBI would have made them evidence.
6. Not reporting these records during an investigation is a crime.
7. No Judge is going to accept "secret code".
8. Even if Trump straight out told him to lie, Cohen is the one that lied, though that would not exonerate Trump.
9. Why aren't these records already in the FBI hands.....even today?
10. Cohen is a proven liar.

This is likely just a ploy to delay his prison sentence and will likely backfire on Cohen..

 

That's a very weak argument by Michael Cohen, it really wouldn't hold up in Court.(Which is why Mueller openly disputed it.). The SDNY has the same problem. As long as Trump shuts up, his legal team will point this flaw out in trial on the porn payments.

 

The code thing hasn’t been mentioned at all regarding the campaign finance felonies they committed. It was about trump tower Moscow.

 

He mentioned it in his House testimony. His argument is essentially that through making indirect comments, it'd be the same as an order. However, I don't interpret it the same way(as Cohen conveniently does.). If I were prosecuting the case against Cohen, I'd make it abundantly clear: He's using Trump as a scapegoat for his own criminality, claiming this indirect method to direct blame from himself.

Cohen's argument is transparent and clear as his intelligence. This whole two year episode should show you how 'smart' criminals are.

Haven't you yet figured out that it doesn't matter much if what is said is backed up with hard evidence, like cancelled checks, signed records, recordings, and names of others who corroborate the story?

 

How could he have access to 14 million files on PODS trump? I doubt if there has been 14 million stories written on the PODS.

It is impossible for anyone to read 14 million files. It is impossible for anyone to count 14 million items one by one in a reasonable amount of time. Based on the evidence you simply can't trust people from that group with numbers. They exaggerate a lot.

But none of this exists. The FBI raided Cohen over a year ago and what has come out of it all against Trump? Not a damn thing. Michael Cohen was convicted of how many felony counts again....including lying under oath? He was in front of Congress just a few weeks ago saying as many negative things as he could about the POTUS to get these mentally ill Democrats salivating and delaying and/or reducing his own prison sentence. And what bit of evidence against Trump could he document through the whole debacle? Not a damn thing. This guy played you fools before.....and he's doing it again. You are embarrassing yourself.

 

Yeah ... Cohen did slapped with another criminal referral for lying to congress ... while testifying about previous lies before congress. Solid.
