The mueller report goes into great detail of how even if he wanted to fire him, it wasn’t obstruction. Read it, Vol 2
Yes I was thinking more of Fake News (though tongue in cheek) but that is terrible. Asking people how they feel when a tragedy occurs is one of the worst habits the insensitive media has. Ruining the lives of otherwise good people for a story of very limited interest is another.
Attempting to is, and if he asked someone to find a reason to do it, that is a reasonable attempt at it. Especially if he asked the same person to lie about it after the fact.
It's pretty clear members of the New Democratic Party intend to keep this an issue all the way to 2020, regardless of what the President did. What else have they got to talk about?
I emailed my (R) House rep and told him to introduce articles of impeachment. (D)'s couldn't be more phony and it's time they were fully exposed as the liars, and frauds they truly are. Pelosi claims that every time Trump challenges a subpoena or invokes executive privilege it's blatant obstruction. Perfect ... no input from Bob Mueller required. Pelosi thinks the DNC is scoring points by recoiling against the DNC's manufactured "constitutional crisis"? Hardly you old windbag. Take yor xanax and lie down Nancy, gravity is ruining your face-lift.
"If you have the facts on your side, pound the facts. If you have the law on your side, pound the law. If you have neither on your side, make fun of the other side."
Everything will turn out OK now.... Motormouth came out with a "modified" results of the Mueller report yesterday... SNIP On Thursday, the president added an important qualifier, telling reporters there was "essentially" no obstruction of justice. ENDSNIP https://www.businessinsider.com/trump-walks-back-obstruction-of-justice-claim-mueller-probe-2019-5 LMAO.... although "essentially" is a great qualifier for Volume 1 as well... There was "essentially" no collusion either.... except for the collusion part. Trump will "essentially" be impeached sooner or later...
It's gotten past the point of making fun, there is indeed a constitutional crisis but not the one those fools are harping about. We have a House of Representatives that has held Barr in contempt for refusing to violate the law. And at this, it's a party that has refused to actually accept the DOJ concessions. If I wanted to vote for an Anarchy Party, I wish they'd been sincere about their intentions. Then we wouldn't be angry, we'd expect it.
Think about this, we'd been paralyzed(and still are paralyzed) by a conspiracy theory that was never true, and even more dubious theories that at the very least won't be tried in a courtroom until 2021. Theories that quite frankly, I feel are stronger for the defense then for the prosecution. Since the only remedy that exists is a courtroom and political support for impeachment doesn't exist, I humbly suggest to Liberals to lay off the crazy and return to politics as normal. It's possible to treat Trump like a normal politician.
Petulant Pelosi just unilaterally awarded the House, supreme constitutional authority. Pelosi said: "Congress is the superior branch of government". Pelosi IS a constitutional crisis in her own right.
Pelosi thinks she has another speakership ahead of her. The absolute best House (D)'s can hope for is an impeachment that dies in the Senate. Not in the DNC's wildest dreams is the GOP going to lose the Senate in 2020, but a doomed from the onset impeachment just might cost them the House. Pelosi isn't a gambler, she's a dirty dealer.
My eyeballs absolutely went wide at that retarded statement, what was worse was some people defending it. The House is the weakest branch in the federal government, it's only ability is to originate(key word: Originate) bills in the House. That's it. If the Senate doesn't pass the bill, it doesn't go to the presidency. They are in THIRD place of the hierarchy, where does Pelosi get the delusional idea, never supported by any constitutional theory that the House is bigger then what it is. We need a new House Speaker, I have no confidence in Pelosi both in her mindset and her failure to overlook the committees.
I'd love to have full impeachment hearings in the House, then turn it over to the Senate.... Just love it... The Senate is completely in play in 2020.... I got 3 pretty easy D pickups vs only 1 probable loss, leaving D's with only 1 close race to turn... Could it be NC? Georgia? Hmmmmm... maybe even Iowa, as they went strong D in 2018 AND you still have Steve King as your poster boy....
There is nothing the Democratic Party has shown us that they can handle the responsibilities of the Senate. They can't even handle the responsibilities of the House. Which is why I hope independents/moderates got a quick splash of water. Yeah, these are the same people who gave us the ACA crisis in 2010. They're still devoid of leadership and should thus be in the minority until at which point we actually see leadership.
(D)'s definitely stood a better chance of picking up a seat in the Senate without the House clown show. (R) voters have NEVER been more aware of how critical it is they retain the Senate. The pseudo impeachment has been underway for months. Between 4 House committees nearly 100 subpoenas were issued as quickly as they (D)'s could divvy up the potential Articles thereof. But Trump's polls are rising and public interest is fading. Sleepy agenda for sleepy candidates. I approve.
Maybe you are correct, but I'd take a leadership void over ethically vacant leadership (I'm looking at you, Mitchy the Kid). A leadership void can be filled over time... Once you've sold yourself to the lowest bidder simply to stay in power, there's no coming back from that....
The democrats are surperb politicians because their only ethical standard is winner They will lie, cheat and perhaps murder to get what they want
Ethically, I agree with you(Personally, I wish there was no leadership void but across party lines, we US Citizens feel there is a void.). And I guess I'd rather an inept person then a corrupt one. But that also depends on the position. As an example, as long as Trump wasn't indicted on a crime and even as I disagree with the tariffs: We're not ded(intentional internet slang spelling.) Like everyone thought we'd be. I'd much rather Marco Rubio, or someone like him with pragmatic experience and thoughtful ideas. And I think if Dems got out of this "hate Trump" phase, they might actually show some unique things to the table. Right now, my feeling is similar to Bush V Kerry. Get me the guy who's in office at the moment. Then we were able to pick a guy like Obama to change directions.
