The dossier is key. It was 100% fraudulent, but it was presented to the FISA judges as "verified". Lots of issues there.

Both parties need to work together. If they won’t work together, they should resign.

This pathetic punchline isn't even worth a laugh around here, just a yawn. Oh yeah, it's allllll about the 2016 election that the Trumpites cling to like lint on a cheap suit. The rest of us (the informed populist) have passed that marker two years ago and are on to some reality. I don't understand why there are so many mentally challenged people that forget the investigation was to determine the what, why, and how the Russians hacked into our election and any related matters. That doesn't seem that hard to understand does it? Yet their "hoax" and perpetual Hillary themes continue unabated. Are they really too dense to not even invent new material?

They will never wake up to the fact that most of us hardly remember what Hillary looks like. The reason for this is because that (and TDS) is their fallback position when their butts are getting wire brushed with facts and data unrelated to their Hillary. Did the Russians hack our elections? Yes. Should we try to figure out how to preclude this in the future? Yes. Should we continue to worry about 2016? About as much as one worries about their last bowel movement. Still, those sub one hundred IQ's will fret about that BM until neighbors start avoiding them and family no longer invites them to Thanksgiving dinner.

Russia fraudulent crap? Oh, okay, they didn't hack our elections like all the intelligence agencies proved. And who cares if a foreign power breaks our digital infrastructure. Maybe, if we close our eyes real tight, it will all just go away. Kind of like when a bunch of Arabs knocked down one of our buildings - just close your eyes and wish it all away. Thank God most of us aren't built that way. We think America is worth the effort not just blab a bunch of right wing drive haunting the dark side of the Internet. We actually will work to "get these guys" no matter who's guys they are. That because if we don't, they'll do it again win a bigger, more destructive way. That seems important to us.

Actually the only thing they hacked were a few computers in Florida and did no damage and of course, did not hack the election like the left wing narrative states unless you think you were tricked into voting for Trump by Russians. Is that it?

It's the genesis of the whole thing that counts. This entire Trump investigation is a house of cards built on sand.

And the boys and girls that got this started were very, very bad.

And he just got a huge applause in a townhall today when he talked about it. But I'm glad you see AOC as honest. She's great.

It is interesting that no one challenged anything I said. Yes, what I said made sense.

Evidence that would hold up in a court of law? The political Left don't need no stinkin' evidence. That's why they use emotionalism instead.

Good news for you. Congress has hundreds of people that can pursue good policy in the form of legislation, AND provide proper oversight to the executive. Some committees work on agriculture, others on defense, others on immigration reform to produce bills to promote the peoples business. Meanwhile another select committee is devoted to offering oversight over executive malfeasance, or illegal conduct, with a possible eye towards its constitutional duty to consider impeachment. Congress has sufficient manpower to do both.

Now you need to talk to Trump about whether he can defend his interests in that committee, and also work on the peoples business. He has lots of manpower too including a lot of cabinet secretaries, and white house staff devoted to legislation. Nixon and Clinton seemed to handle both fine. Bills, budgets actually got passed and signed when both administrations were under similar investigative fire . Confirmations of nominees got considered too.

No. I see this differently. I think you are conflating a preliminary investigation done by the House of executive malfeasance, with one specific remedy offered by the constitution for the malfeasance discovered. The results of legislative investigative oversight more frequently lead to the pursuit of other legislative responses. Normally and historically, the House had no way of determining which remedy is appropriate, before it starts the public investigation because there was no special counsel appointment or report to be considered in the constitution. As I see it, the impeachment process does not start until a House committee is charged with actively considering possible language for articles of impeachment as a chosen remedy. Those are the formal charges in the indictment that the House brings for congressional consideration and that is consistent with definitions I have read.

In other words, 'Impeachment hearings' only exist, when the same committee that is investigating and acquiring the evidence and testimony is the same committee charged with the responsibility of writing the articles. If the committee doing the investigation, is not charged with that same authority by the either the speaker and by House rule to write the articles, then those hearing are within the normal scope of legislative oversight.

AOC is a bartender who has no knowledge of American history, American politics, traditional American culture, or economics.

She’s always wrong, but never in doubt.

Trump is a carnival barker who has no knowledge of American history, American politics, traditional American culture, or economics.

He’s always wrong, but never in doubt, and usually damages America.

the only thing missing from this is why Nancy Pelosi is correct.

A whole lotta TDS but no reasons given.

My advice is to take a deep breath and realize that if you want to convince anybody, then you have to put something after the word "because" that is at least somewhat rational.

In the past, bipartisanship and working together has meant that the MSM could make the republicans fold almost without fail.

I'm for the new era of fight for what's right.

Must be why the economy is roaring and we have historic low unemployment in every demographic. For the left, that IS damage and why they are out trying to stop it.
