No it doesnt. Courts have ruled numerous times that the govt does not demonstrably have that obligation. If the government has any obligation, its to protect a minimum degree of social order. Society cant function with consequence-free murder preventing trade, travel and interaction. Society can function just fine with abortion. Abortion, guns, drugs are fundamentally moral issues.

And if justice was truly blind she would be in jail.

No they are different. Drugs basically hurt only the user. Abortion is an issue between the right of the fetus and the rights of the mother. And guns are an issue of harm to innocents.

Endless repetition doesn’t make it so. Republicans have hated the Clintons for decades and have yet to come up with anything even barely acceptable in a court of law.

A simple 'no, I won't deal' will suffice.

Surely you realize that all of these relationships you're attempting to authoritatively attribute are subjectively percieved and interpreted by those who value access to these as rights and those would restrict them.

At the end of the day, the case can be made for or against each of these positions, and they all boil down to simply what we can negotiate with eachother.

This dynamic used to be called 'politics.'

I have had a security clearance and had the law drilled into me. I can tell you exactly which law, chapter and verse, she broke but hey you wouldn't care.

I prefer not to speak for everyone. Yes, there are still places in the US where open carry makes more sense for the same reasons it did in the past.

Glad to see you are smarter and more knowledgeable than the entire rest of the Republicans who have tried to get something on the Clintons for decades.

So in your opinion there are no individual rights just what can be negotiated or more correctly what is determined by the application of money and political pressure.

As a staunch believer in the 2A ..I just don't support open carry in major urban areas. Its purely for attention if not in law enforcement and counter productive to the entire reason I conceal carry. I never want a bad person doing something bad enough to warrant me drawing my weapon until it's too late .

Yeah I get it..give an inch to the gun grabbers they will take a mile but at some point rational people have to make personal decisions

Oh no, I believe far worse than that. I don't think we have any rights at all beyond those we're willing to fight to the death to protect. Which of those rights each individual values enough to continue exercising varies from individual to individual. You can tell me what your rights are, and I can tell you what my rights are. Those rights that we'll both fight for are our only rights.
