Name one species going extinct due to global warming.

Both scenarios are more likely in a warmer climate. It just depends on your location and seasonal variations.

For example, parts of California have seen massive increases of drought and wildfire in the last decade. But some of those same areas have also seen floods and mud slides.

One of the issues with a warmer climate is that the clouds can hold onto more moisture before they reach the tipping point and become rain. In those periods where it is holding onto the moisture, the land becomes drier and more droughts and wildfires are an issue. After the tipping point is reached, the rain that does come down will be more intense and that results in more floods.

I have heard it explained this way. In previous decades, the bulk of the yearly rain fall came across 15 days. Over time, that has shortened to 14 days, then 13, etc. There are longer periods of no rain and more concentrated periods of heavy rain.

Ok. So I would be a relevant authority on producing food.

Oh ok. So I may flood out one year and burn up the next. Or I may get too much rain in the early spring and not enough later in the season? Is that accurate?

So whats the plan to replace 1 million species? And no... it doesn't go this fast. What's this... climate change denialism?

You don’t think species have been eliminated this fast? For real?

What does any of this have to do with climate change denialism? Be specific.

A one party system is not a democracy.

It should be 999,990. That’s a much smaller number.

Says you... and like /care. You're confused that there is something as a 1 party democracy and a multi party democracy.
A 1 party democracy where they vote is different than a monarchy, where it's settled at birth.
I mean.... how could you not understand this?

    https://theconversation.com/extinct...ppening-at-1-000-times-the-normal-speed-99191
But secondly, fossil records show that current extinction levels are around 1,000 times the natural background rate. They are exacerbated by habitat loss, hunting, climate change and the introduction of invasive species and diseases.

So 3 questions in one reply, and so you're out. If you got something to dispute, than lets hear it.
I'm not here to be interrogated when you're to lazy to look things up.

You think mass extinctions and natural background rates are the same thing? Why would I need to look anything up? You are going off on tangents unrelated to my question. Never mind you ignore causes other than climate change. Oh well.

Another question. What number of species on the planet do you think is perfect? And why would anyone’s opinion on that number matter?

I’ll ask again, what does any of our discussion have to do with denialism? Have I denied climate change?

Says everybody. Show me a reference to anyone who claims a one party totalitarian system of government is a democracy.

I can name five right off the top of my head - Lenin, Mao, Pol Pot, Mugabe and Maduro. I mean, all ya have to do is make the claim and - voila! - a one party totalitarian system of government magically becomes a democracy!

Another way to pull off this magic act is to stick the word "Democracy" or "Republic" in front of your country's name and - voila! - a one party totalitarian system of government magically becomes a democracy!

And if anyone cannot understand this they get shipped off to the local re-education camp where they are taught to understand this...

    I
I was here in 1980 when Mobutu ran for re-election. One party system, the MPR. The vote was to decide if Mobutu should continue as head of the MPR. On election day voting was mandatory and consisting of putting either a red no ballot or a green yes ballot in the box. To insure no hanky-panky there was an armed soldier or policeman at each ballot box insuring you only put in one green er, ah, one ballot. Mobutu was so wildly popular most of the polling places didn't even have red ballots.
Once confirmed as head of the MPR he then chose his cabinet, the congress, the governors and mayors and all other political positions.
    Very democratic.

Sure. And I get that, as a farmer, you deal with those exact same issues already.

The point of a warmer climate is that those risks become more extreme. So a drought that would ordinarily last one year now might last 3-4 years.

China is a totalitarian police state. Surely you know that. Communism, in practice has always replicated the totalitarian anti-democratic model of government. Monarchy is inherently authoritarian, but not always a dictatorship. Marx, Engels and Lenin admired a constitutional monarchy - monarchy with a small checked and balanced government.

Here's a bunch of Animals that went extinct around 10,000 years ago. I don't think there were too many Smog mobiles, Plastic bottles and pollution spewing factories around back then to kill them off, but they died off anyways. If there is one thing that does seem to cause extinction of animals species, it's TOO! Damn many Humans on Planet Earth, which is sitting about 7.5 billion right now and projected to be 10 billion by mid century. If the Human species can't control its numbers, I suggest they immigrate to a different Planet that has more room, maybe Jupiter. That's why we need the DAMN wall, to keep the United States of America from going extinct, because we have enough people in this country, the Vacancy sign is OFF! and I personally don't want more of MY! income going to pay more Taxes to pay for Parasites that sneak into the country and Leach off our Society, while my Paycheck goes extinct paying for them.
