Joe Biden Donors Gather for Emergency Closed-Door Meeting as Campaign Loses Steam

The meeting comes as the campaign is besieged by questions over Hunter Biden’s business dealings in Ukraine as well as polls showing the former vice president is no longer the frontrunner among 2020 Democrats. Biden, who once led the field by as much 26 percentage points, now trails Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) in the early states of Iowa and New Hampshire.

Adding to the campaign’s trouble is the fact that their fundraising numbers were eclipsed this quarter not only by Warren but also Sen. Bernie Sanders (D-VT) and South Bend Mayor Pete Buttigieg — who polled significantly below the former vice president.

I think Joes campaign is going under.

Bootygig and Sanders are beating him in donations, and his ties to Ukraine and China are not going away.

Bernies heart attack is also a campaign ender-but he may still campaign for a while.

 

Could the Fat Lady in the pantsuit be warming up in the wings?

 

Given how the party decided to nominate someone under criminal investigation for obvious felonies last time, maybe they are realizing its not such a great idea to do it again...even with true house dems attempting to obstructed the investigation.

Biden needs to realize who he's currently running against for the nomination and it ain't Trump. Every time he opens his mouth about Trump people respond with Biden's son. In order to get donations from democrats he has to convince fellow democrats why he's a better choice than Warren and Sanders.

 

I get that feeling also, and that would be good for the Republicans. All the attention would be attracted to her and Trump and overwhelm all the impeachment shenanigans. Of course Hillary will be all for the impeachment of the 'illegitimate' President but Trump will have no problem exposing her history and lack of credibility.

 

I don't think any of them have a chance. They're all lightweights, with the possible exception of Bernie, and that's been evident for months. But Bernie is likely out because of his health. Make way for the lady in the pantsuit.

 

Biden has been done for years. He just needs to fall into the hole. I would never vote for him.

 

Democrats have a long history of voting for dead people.

Dead Democrats also have a long history of voting from the grave.

But if we look back when Democrats have voted for dead people...

If Bernie Sanders were to have another heart attack which is fatal.

And Joe Biden where to get run over by an AmTrak train...

1/3 of the Democrats would still vote for Bernie while 1/3 of the Democrats would still vote for Biden.

 

Dems would put voting booths in cemeteries.

 

Except in California, the Democratic party pays $20 per hour to harvest ballots at the cemeteries.

 

Sanders is done. Why would he risk another heart attack? You've seen his angry, faux outraged delivery. I takes energy to bluster as he do's.

 

Only thing I can think of is he's still raising money.
