    Progressive logic.

People owe Government over 1 trillion dollars. ( student loan bubble)
    Solution?

    Forget it.

Dont you know the next wave of people getting the same loans will be more responsible? wink wink

poster before the budget was released? Is that why you continue to post the headline that doesn’t actually reflect the budget?

I agree it is arguing semantics. We are though because it illustrates again how the media takes a fact and assumes the worst from Trump and reports their own assumptions as fact. Mandatory spending cuts are not then end of the world and it would be better if instead of this type of reaction from media and political opponents, we all had an adult conversation as to how we might go about fixing it. And that is for BOTH parties.

no you can't. you are limited by your insurance carriers network. And the vast majority of people have insurance through their employers, and group rates are cheaper than individual rates. They don't have a choice.

Scaring old people before an election by falsely claiming Repubicans will cut Social Security is a standard Democrat party tactic.
Your claim of 30 Billion is from an unprovided/unnamed source.

The source you cited says this. But Trump is not proposing benefit cuts to the two biggest entitlement programs: Social Security or Medicare

Maybe, but I don't think so

You're discussing a forbidden thing, not doing it.

Well if that was the case talking about violence on a forum isn't actually doing violence.

The newest budget says the budget won't be balanced until 2035 and that trillion dollar deficits will continue for the foreseeable future.

How is that different from the "darkening fiscal future" referenced by the CBO?

Yet another Trump win and promise kept. Trump is actually proposing cutting the massive waste, fraud corruption and abuse that has crippled our massive and very dangerous administrative state.

"The president’s budget includes a bold and detailed chapter on curbing waste, fraud, corruption, and taxpayer abuse.

… [a] bloated Federal Government, with duplicative programs and wasteful spending, remains a critical threat to America’s future.
President’s Budget FY2021 | Chapter: Stopping Wasteful And Unnecessary Spending, page 13
Our organization at OpenTheBooks.com has advocated these goals from the pages of The Wall Street Journal and USA Today. With the national debt standing at $23.2 trillion and annual budget deficits of over $1 trillion, we applaud the president for starting a war on waste."

There won't be any cuts to SS or Medicaid for those who worked and earned it. Just welfare. I don't like even calling any of the free stuff entitlements.

Anyhow, this budget was just put out there to piss off democrats. It won't be approved by the do nothing House of Pelosi. Nothing to negotiate either. There will be more short term budget extensions, as usual.

Stop equivocating. Frex. he's not proposing cuts to the actual amount you get in a check but they'll no longer pay for certain drugs you need, The net effect is less money in pocket to pay for F-35s we're giving to the Sauds and a giant wall on the Southern border.

With all due respect, this is insane. You have to be crazy to vote for this *******
