    The rumors of him being seriously ill have been floating around for several days, so maybe.

    It'd be wonderful if this turns out to be the point where North Korea decides to join the free world.

    As of now it's just a ton of speculation. North Korea's always been a black box and rumors come out of it like a rushing river. The general consensus/trend among it all seems to be he had some type of heart procedure and is recovering. I'd like to wait until we get something official, from say US intelligence agencies or the SK government. However, if he really is dead, I could easily see why America/SK would want to keep their cards close (this could be their best chance in a generation to take down the world's most infamous dictatorships/nuclear powers).

    It's anyones guess at this point.The Un does have lavish eating disorders.
    Like an addiction to Swiss Cheese.He is definitely overweight and probably
    doesn't exercise.He was schooled in Switzerland and that may be where
    his addiction to Swiss Cheese started.Swiss Cheese like most cheese is
    very fatty and mostly protein.A little cheese is healthy.
    Plus maybe those around him want him fat,lazy and more interested
    in foods than actually powerful.Trump could get to the bottom rather
    quickly.With satellite spyware and last seen photos.

    My sister posted a link this morning from a newspaper in Taiwan that said he was in a vegetative state. I guess we will see.....

    Every day that goes by with no official word, the more likely.
    However, had he passed there would likely have been some flurry of activity by now that would make it obvious.
    As long as it's quiet around the capital he's probably alive.

    A power struggle would take place. China might step in due to millions trying to cross the border and nukes in unknown hands.
    Maybe NK would become a new Chinese province. One Path, One Road and all. Sure would fit the Chinese narrative.

    China would want to eliminate any possibility of South Korean advance into North Korea very early. Quite sure they have plans already on the table.

    I agree, but wasn't there some big thing that was suppose to happen a few weeks ago honoring his dad or grandfather that he never showed up to? Maybe they are being quiet about it because of the reasons you listed above. Very weird situation
