Were soeone to take his advice, he should be sued.

Read my post quoting the respiratory technician, they use lots of medicines that diss infect the person including inhalants and how great it would be if we could develop one for this virus. The President did not say use an already in existant sitting in the kitchen department at Walmart cleaner. I was given a steroid inhalant for a recent bronchial infection and it helped disinfected me of the infection. Antibodies disinfect you of bacterial infections. They are giving virus vaccinations by inhalants now.

The BBC (UK) did a hatchet job on Trump's "sunlight & bleach" briefing I happily took apart:

 

They both get rid of an infection, the disinfect remove and infection just as the steriod inhaler I recently used and now we are even have inhalers to protect us from getting infected in the first place.

Badly worded perhaps but the fact his he looked back at the doctors and said wouldn't it be great if they could develop one for this virus. You disagree with that? And nowhere did he suggest anyone inhale or inject any commericial clearner.

There is no inhaler that deals with a virus. Your bronchial infection was in your lungs, where the inhaler addressed it. My asthma is in my lungs, where my albuterol inhaler addresses it. Neither is a "disinfectant". Inhalers do not "diss infect". They open the airways by causing dilation of tissue. They do not "disinfect". Trump said "disinfectant" and a disinfectant is defined as a cleanser for surfaces, and no disinfectant is approved for inhalation, ingestion, or injection. Trump didn't say anything about development of an anti-viral drug that could be inhaled. He referred to "disinfectants."

Then why, beginning within an hour or two after Trump's comments, have clinics and medical centers been flooded with phone calls about the question or looking for medical help after ingesting a disinfectant like Clorox or Lysol? I posted two such reports in this thread and have heard of more on the news.

It didn't happen before Trump said it. They did it BECAUSE of Trump's comments. Trump is a dangerous fool.

 

There is no inhalent that attacks this virus. There are substances that give some help in keepig an infected person's lungs working for a while longer.

There is no vaccine for any SARS variant and COVID19 is caused by a SARS virus.

Having the president promote fake medical solutions is TOTALLY unacceptable. Period.

I don't believe you need to say that you hope for a medical solution to COVID. Nobody is rooting for COVID19 to be victorious.
