Hell, what do you mean struggling? They supported skankapotamus last time. The only thing theses butt hurt neocons and Bushophiles are struggling with is that Trump beat their blue noses last time and they still don't understand why.

Powell is another politically correct overrated military man, the poster boy for a Yes Man, who admitted he voted for Hillary and Obama. You can't get more liberal than that. He has always rode in the wagon and never got out to push. Now says he will vote for another democrat -- no surprise to most people.

Gee wiz, how ironic is that? The father of inveterate liar Sister Sarah.............being interviewed on a cable network owned by vehement conservatives..............created by a former Repub operative........... made famous by virtue of its penchant for disinformation............giving the audience the kind of disingenuous red meat they crave.

He won in 2016 and he’ll win in 2020.

Yet Powell gave perhaps the most rational, defensible, patriotic reason for not supporting Trump one can imagine.

"And former Secretary of State Colin Powell announced on Sunday that he will vote for Mr. Biden, telling CNN that Mr. Trump “lies about things” and Republicans in Congress won’t hold him accountable."

Hmm, so lifelong Republicans who spent their entire life loyal to the party and the conservative causes are now RINO's vs. the 7 time party switcher who doesn't know and never knew what he was. To me, Trump is the RINO, a thin skin, egotist opportunist who just happen to win the GOP nomination. I'd say it time to dump the RINO and get back to traditional conservative values.

What is funny: All of those Trump fans who now trash GWN and Romney happily voted for them. Second, if this forum existed in 2001, these same posters would have defended GWB with the same vigor with which they are now defending Trump. They don't even realize how far down the rabbit hole of the personality cult they have gone.

OMG, a politician who "lies about things". Powell is so articulate and he was so truthful about "weapons of mass destruction". Lying didn't keep Powell from voting for Hillary and Obama. Won't keep him from voting for Biden. Did the dems in Congress hold Adam Schiff accountable for his lies? Powell was a general in our Army? General Halftrack. I just had a good chuckle.

The Electoral College in its wisdom did not allow commie cesspits to dictate the outcome. Enjoy those governors like in Minnesota once the cops no longer protect the people. See how they like National Guardsmen then.

It isn't as though the Repubs who are reluctant or unwilling to support the Orange Messiah are acting without reason. Here are some from the article.

"Trump’s incendiary response to the protests of police brutality, atop his mishandling of the coronavirus pandemic"

"Trump “lies about things” and Republicans in Congress won’t hold him accountable."

“President Trump has shown he doesn’t have the qualities necessary to be a good commander in chief.”

"calls for protesters to be physically constrained, “dominated,” as he put it, and his administration’s order to forcefully clear the streets outside the White House so he could walk out for a photo opportunity."

    "Trump is unfit for office."

"concerned about the negative effect on the intelligence community by the turmoil of turnover at D.N.I.,”

"Trump is “driving us all crazy” and his handling of the virus led to a death toll that “didn’t have to happen.”

The EC did not reflect the will of the majority of Americans and therefore is essentially an anti-democratic institution.

It reflected the will of Congress and is immutably part of our Constitution. This can be changed, by lawful means following strict guidelines Dems NEVER want to follow but streamline or ignore. I invite you to pass petitions and get enough in each state to call for the Constitutional Convention which will destroy Democrat excesses forever. The boomerang will crush the remnants of Obamacare, opposition to presenting valid ID for elections, and end the infanticide the Democrats consider a plank of party policy.

Go ahead and start that Convention. Please!

Grab a civics class. The founding fathers knew exactly what majority tyranny can do and cut that off early by the representational republic which withstands empty calls to drop that College. Of course those heartrending cries to abolish it would not be NEARLY as loud if the Donks had won. Odd how that works. Loser Dems whine, news at 11:00.

That long winded screed in no way refutes my point. The EC did not reflect the will of the majority of Americans and therefore is essentially an anti-democratic institution.

Rachel??? Is that you hon? If not, it's like you could be twinsies or something..

Here's a news flash. Neither Romney or Bush were supporters of Trump to begin with. That they aren't again, well, that doesn't surprise anyone. So why does it surprise you? There is a real difference of approach here. Where Romney and Bush would be globalists, Trump is not. As we saw with the unpreparedness for the viral lockdowns, the supply chain being so unwieldily was really a problem. And while both Bush II and Romney would have us continue to be dependent on those global supply chains, it doesn't seem effective or otherwise prudent anymore. And for lots of us, their opinions really don't hold much weight. Except that for folks like you slurp it down and then post ridiculous assertions based on it... It is actually pretty funny.

Romney is a Republican like Rachel Anne Dolezal is a black woman, or Smollet is a victim or mattress girl was really raped or Warren is a native American.

There is a reason the Bush family doesn't support Trump. Never has, never will.

    Regarding your footer..

I met Karl Manke and he cut my hair, June 6. I have a long piece about it. It's really a separate thread. (Which is still a mystery to me with this particular software package.) Are personal messages allowed here? I'd send it to you if you like. It was a wild-west zoo the day after Big Gretch got stomped 7-zip.

He has a web site in his name (dot-com) selling his 10 novels, including a Vietnam army vets coming-home story you might find worthy. (And cynics beware: this brouha is NOT an attempt to sell books; he's had it up before this).

The quote he directly told me is this: "All I did was shoot off my mouth. It just started with me and people kept getting in on it." And now Karl Manke and other salon owners are the leaders in opposing crackpot governors. He's a hero standing up to petty tyrants. I willingly gave money for his amazing legal defense which toppled Whitmer's shutdown order.

Then I shook everybody's hand, including his.

People across the USA rejected the Bush, McCain, Powell, Obama, Hillary, and Romney doctrine and that is why they put Trump in office. These aforementioned swamp rats now have an axe to grind. Sour grapes at it's finest with plenty of support from the MSM. Why do we now care of their opinions.
