    I can absolutely promise you that more people support the notion of reducing the military budget, given that it is larger than the next 8-10 countries combined, than there are people support reducing the budget of the military.

    Interestingly enough, the mystery VP pick is the great hope of the Republican party as well given that they haven't managed to find a single criticism of Joe Biden which doesn't bounce back at Trump 10x harder.

    So they are waiting for that mystery VP pick which will, thankfully for them, at least be a woman and probably a minority.

    The problem here, of course, is the false choice between "securing the border" and "building Trump's ~25$ Billion dollar wall.

    You can secure the border without building miles of new wall.

    A) Biden did not say that the travel ban was xenophobic.
    B) Claiming the travel ban is xenophobic is an opinion and thus can not be a lie.

    The closest that I have seen Biden say in terms of redirecting police funding is that he wanted to move it away from the purchase of excess military equipment and even then, he meant - as far as I can tell - that those funds would simply be earmarked as part of another aspect of the police budget.

    the funds still go to the PD, just a new department, kinda like the Homicide dept did not defund the police, in fact both departments probably increased funding for the PD

    many calls now will require this new department to be dispatched as well as police, it will save lives and help people, but it won't cost less

    I never understand this defense of Trump. By every standard Trump is the biggest liar, most authoritarian, and least knowledgeable person to sit in the Oval Office. Saying that other candidates say something not true is like defending a serial killer by pointing out how other people jaywalk.

    That's like claiming Trump supports abolishing social security, since he's redirected funds for SS to send them elsewhere. Regardless of whether the latter is true, it doesn't mean the former isn't dishonest
