Why US outsourced bat virus research to Wuhan

    An interesting article in Asia Times. It says that because of some accidents in American labs concerning biosafety US government imposed a ban on certain types of research. But it wasn't stopped. Instead, it was outsourced to China where accidents continued to flow.

    And the person who approved this transfer was nobody else but Anthony Fauci himself.

    So the one who helped to create this crisis is now the one who is tasked to handle it.

    Go figure this out.

    One of the vaccines under trial came out of that research.

    It's controversial, it's complicated, which is to say it's prob more than this forum can handle. It's something about which experts can disagree.

    Something that never comes up are the things we could do to slow the evolution if pandemic diseases, which would reduce the need for this sort of research.

    I'm CT, and my theory is that Fauci brought in the Chinese with their animals as part of a long term strategy. That move allowed them to blame China for it, is my theory, long term strategy.

    Plandemic is still the best descriptor.

    I'm all for pulling all of our investments and everything from China, and instead of 'banning' scientific premises in America, maybe next time we should aim for being more careful lol.

    Because we vote for Democrat and/or Republican, and thus with no actual equity in the game do you really think either party could be led to do things for the good of the nation? It's the primary reason the framers hated the parties to begin with.

    If we voted for Greens or anyone else in mass, and by mass I mean some freaking seats. Just ONE seat by an independent(not named Bernie), will totally shock the entire pay-to-play system. "Uh oh, the masses really do want to be represented this time."

    We're living in King George's Britain and we don't even know it lol.

    Why were we weaponizing those viruses,? I thought we stopped that years ago? We have gone crazy!

    Is this true about Fauci. How did he get the authority to do that? Sure he didn't change his name from Mengeles?

    I think we should call then PUBIC servants. They wear holes in the knees of their britches servicing our elites. The halls of Congress and bathrooms have to be mopped every half hour.

    Well, if you think you can trust Dr. Fauci, the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, you now have every reason to question his judgment. In an interview with PBS NewsHour, Dr. Fauci, the trusted expert, actually lauded New York’s response to the coronavirus.

    How exactly does anyone look at what happened in New York and say that’s a model example for fighting the coronavirus?

    Let’s look at the evidence.

    New York’s lockdown came late
    Cuomo was clueless about New York’s needs
    Cuomo sent thousands of nursing home residents to their deaths
    Cuomo kept the subways running, but waited months to clean them
    Dr. Fauci is failing us, because there’s no way anyone can say New York is a model of how to it right.
