Ok, well I certainly have met the police before against my best interests, I never had a physical confrontation, sans getting arrested at college for keg parties, I was caught with the take for the night, and got the "police car roller coaster ride", while handcuffed.

But other than you and me, WTFC. Petty historical anecdotes are basically f@rts in the wind.

The reality is, it is all fluid, and there are bad police. Hence my argument, get rid of the immunity clause, it is too much legal assertion, the rest, I don't give a flying frog's backside.

I think Hawk Newsome means re-declaring war on police.

This is no longer about George Floyd. Don't fool yourself.

Floyd's murder was a catalyst for the progressive left to use terrorism to push for political change and impose an ideology that was shot down by electorate last election.

    Nothing more, nothing less.

I can't speak for him but I was not outraged at the police over George Floyd. I was outraged at one cop. It is easy to paint a group with the actions of a few but not an effective thing to do.

I meant the police that were there, you know the one killing him and the others just watching him die when the public were yelling "you're killing him"

I'm starting to come on board with the police problem.

Here's a video of a young man (who's name you might recognize) blaming the police for crashing a car he happened to be driving. Seriously, their barricade caused him to crash the car!

Of course it was terrible. But the violence and murders and financial destruction that have resulted from the “protests” are categorically worse in every conceivable way. NO ONE is saying what happened to Floyd was OK. NO ONE!!! But good luck finding any Dem leaders that are condemning the “rioters”. Besides the fake claims that the rioters aren’t really BLM protestors which is a load of crap. City leaders are letting it happen!!!! Of course many are opportunists, but this has been going on for weeks. When people in the same group are holding signs and throwing rocks and burning for the same cause then you can’t arbitrarily claim, only the peaceful ones are truly BLM supporters. BS.

And sorry. Mobs of violent individuals destroying property, hurting and killing people is the exact definition of terror. Violently taking control over parts of a city? But I’m sure your outrage is subjective when it’s something you agree with. Although anyone who agrees with BLM is dangerous for this country since BLM is NOT simply about rogue cops. It’s MUCH MUCH MORE. And it sure as **** isn’t about ALL Black lives. It’s about black lives taken by white people and only white people. Blacks killing each other, THE REAL PROBLEM, doesn’t matter. If lives actually matter is it 10 lives or 1000s? Because it was just around 10 unarmed black men that were shot by cops last year. 10 compared to 1000s murdered by gangs and other violence!!! And unarmed doesn’t mean innocent and harmless either. How pathetic that lives don’t really matter to BLM? Breaking up the nuclear family? Promoting Marxism while Democrat leaders clap??? Promoting breaking up police departments so MORE violence happens as we’ve already seen? Dangerous individuals buddy.

Is that real??? I'd never seen it before. It looks like Angel George Floyd was a thug even back when he was 16. And a thug who got national attention on Judge Judy, no less.

Let them police their own communities. Then we can hear the residents complain that the BLM police are more violent than the Police!

I agree it's a serious problem of optics, why set aside thousands of lives to focus only on 10, or 50.

Not to be nitpicky but was that 10 unarmed shootings or 10 unarmed unjustified shootings not including whites.

fmw can certainly speak for himself, but 1 doesn't and neither do 3 or 4 make "the police."

OK. I'm not sure the other cops commited any crimes. I don't think watching a crime is itself a crime. They were cowardly and didn't do their job to be sure but I think there was only a single murderer.

So they are tearing down monuments and statues of Columbus to champion equality? Really? They are looking at defunding policy to drive equality? They are taking over areas of west coast cities, creating non-US controlled zones for equality?

    BS.

Statistics say that your narrative is completely false. Further, far more blacks are killed by other blacks or abortion. Yet.... silence. Kinda makes the movement and the champion for equality based on non-sense.

Because it is. It has nothing to do with equality. It has to do with a political and social agenda that pushes progressive ideologies and uses equality as the catalyst to push for changes. I.e. why the LA Teachers Union demands a host of social ideologies that have nothing to do with children before returning to the classroom.

The progressive left needs to stop being a bunch of sissies about their agenda, pull up their skirts, and push for the changes they desire on their merits rather than hijacking a cause like equality to push their culture war. Time to man up, or shut up.

    What an ignorant perspective.

If you really believe that the majority of people that support Trump, who really aren't supporting Trump but the ideological side of the conservative cultural norms, then you are the one with the issue.

They should start with Los Angeles where having an unloaded gun on them is a felony. How long will they continue to support the party that wants to disarm them?

That was from 2010, the kid was 17. George Floyd was 46 when he died. Not the same person at all.
