BS. What led up to that point. Those officers drew down on him and were following him. Why didn't they try non-lethal methods before that. Why not tackle him? Why not Tase him? They could have easily taken him with other methods. Why didn't they kick the door closed so he couldn't reach in ? YES, what the guy did was dumb. But their were events that led up to that point that were beyond problematic.
After ignoring orders to stop. And only after he was reaching into his car for a shotgun to shoot the police. I’ll assume shotgun, because you assumed he was just shot in the back for no reason. Few support the cops more than I do, but this is absolutely right. After watching the tape I see no reason to shoot him. If they didn't have a taser they should have tackled him. That being said the savages would have rioted if they tackled him anyway.

Probably not. They still could have and should have tackled him. I didn't see them being threatened with a knife when they shot him. The cops in the video looked quite weak. The NYPD would have had him down in 5 seconds.

First off, officers have an obligation to stop a fleeing felon. Non lethal tasers djdnt work. A new video shows the officer and the suspect wrestling, so hands on didnt stop him. Whats your next move? Let a violent, repeat felon hop in the car and drive off with three young children in the car?
