Can you imagine if regular people - not ridiculously spoiled multi-millionaire entertainers - said they were boycotting work because? "I can't do the brain surgery because a local minister ran over someone's pet. Pup Lives Matter!" "Won't be able to continue the murder investigation because someone hit a cop with a brick. Masonry Walls Matter!"
It looks like ALL professional sports teams are kowtowing to this BLM 'doublethink' idiocy. It never occurs to anyone that the cops were CALLED in RESPONSE to some kind of violent disturbance or other breaking of the LAW. Cops don't just wander around all over a town looking for stupid situations that can end their careers and destroy their own lives in the matter of one day! No, these officers are sworn to UPHOLD the laws their cities, counties, and states. And more and more of them are taking early retirement, or just saying, "Screw it... I'm outta here", rather than having to fight both an increasingly lawless, bestial public, and, the bureaucrats who give them orders to go out and maintain "law and order".... But, if professional athletes want to HONOR criminals, 'perps', and others of this country's growing population of useless trash then they are free to sit on their lordly, VERY well-paid asses and refuse to play. I'll be just as free to watch someone else do something else -- anything else....
You're missing the point I think. The 'change' they're trying to make is for liberals to be completely free from the rule of law. Every law. The black man is their trojan horse. if a black man murders 3 small children in broad daylight, and the cops shoot him to stop him, there would be riots.
But how is it 'beneficial' for professional athletes to do this...? To please a bunch of ghetto bums who probably haven't even got enough money to buy food unless the government gives it to them...? If so, that's awfully blind of professional athletes, who indirectly rely on large masses of people with quite a bit of disposable income to support team owners who pay them the millions upon millions of dollars they get. Many of we among those "large masses of people" are not one damned bit amused by these stupidly idiotic episodes of 'guerrilla theater' conducted to soothe a bunch of vicious, doctrinaire thugs....
