    I have no problem with the rule saying lame duck president should not be able to nominate a new Justice say five months before an election.

    But 11 months???? That's insane. Does a president stop doing his job his last year in office????? What the Republicans did to Garland was a dishonest travesty

    when dems get control of the Senate, just add seats to the sc and fill them with 50 votes

    no rule that only 9 can be seated, or at least no rule that can't be changed

    I do not care what the rule is, but both parties should have to follow the same rules, if the party in power can change the rules any time they want, then dems can do the same when they are in power
