How many here really cannot vote for either the Republican or Democratic candidate?

I remember a jazz club in Portland Or during the 1960's called Sydney's. Sydney himself was a black man and fine jazz pianist. He knew everyone in the jazz business and had great names show up to play with his combo in his club unannounced. i remember listening to Oscar Peterson, Miles Davis, Ornette Coleman and others there on a Saturday night. I think the name can go either way.

Its simple really. We have a party actively trying to fundamentally alter the country by ignoring the checks and balances of the constitution. I intend to vote against that.

If I cast a vote it will be LP. I’m really looking forward to the October surprises though. Gonna be fun. :)

I voted LP last time, because I wanted to do my part to maybe get a third party a seat at the table going forward.

I, like many others, felt that Trump stood little chance of winning against a seasoned career politician with the full backing of her party, when half the Republicans were vowing resistance against him.

As disastrous as an HRC win would be, it seemed inevitable. And the 2016 election as a whole cemented in my mind the need for another party. Therefore, my LP vote.

Since then, the veil has been pulled back on the evil that is the democrat party, and so I will cast my vote now, and forever, to aid in whatever tiny way in their defeat.

That sounds like me. I haven't even voted recently. I'm not going to vote for someone unless I am very well informed on that election and actually happy with one candidate.

I haven't found a reason to support either presidential candidate as of yet. No Senate race. I will probably vote for the democratic house candidate.

The last time I voted R/D, was Obama's first term. Before that, it was Bush Jr's first term. Before that, Bush Sr's first term.

I will be casting my second lifetime POTUS vote for a D this year, simply because I have to stand against true evil. It pisses me off to no end that I have to do this. I LOATHE voting for the main parties. They are at the root of the rot on our country.

Yet, here I am, voting for someone I hate, because the pig in the WH is, well, a pig. Makes me sad that this is where we are.

The true problem is that the qualifications to get the job have little to do with doing the job. The ability to compromise, for instance, has been given away when one depicts his opponents as stupid demons.

I can't bring myself to vote for someone who will be 80 when the person next in line is a vile human being. I also can't bring myself to vote for the alternative.

Seeing all these responses, I feel somewhat consoled. Many feel as I. For the others, what they say about the other side is mostly true and they make the case against both. Trump is like some SNL excessive parody of what Presidential would be, and Biden is the second Iraq invasion criminal the Democratic Party has dared to offer up for the post. How can America put up with parties that produce such woefully unfit people? It is so resoundingly obvious that the duopoly has only one purpose; perpetuation of its power and the power of those who pay it.

So you're going to vote for the Biden family that has committed real crimes rather than the imaginary crimes committed by Trump.

These folks are having no problem deciding.

More than 200 retired generals, admirals endorse Biden, including some who served under Trump

WASHINGTON — More than 200 retired generals and admirals endorsed Joe Biden for president in a letter published Thursday, saying he had the character and judgment to serve as commander-in-chief instead of President Donald Trump, who has failed "to meet challenges large or small."

Some of the officers who signed the letter supporting Biden had retired only in the past few years, including Air Force Gen. Paul Selva, who served as vice chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff under Trump before he retired in August 2019; Vice Adm. Gardner Howe, a Navy SEAL leader who also retired last year; and retired Adm. Paul Zukunft, who oversaw the Coast Guard until 2018.

The list of signatories featured 22 retired four-star military officers, among them Navy Adm. Samuel Locklear, who oversaw all U.S. forces in the Pacific from 2012 to 2015, and Adm. Harry Ulrich, who commanded U.S. naval forces in Europe during President George W. Bush's administration.

Nearly 500 former senior military, civilian leaders signal support for Biden

"Nearly 500 retired senior military officers, as well as former Cabinet secretaries, service chiefs and other officials, have signed an open letter in support of former vice president Joe Biden, the Democratic presidential nominee, saying that he has “the character, principles, wisdom and leadership necessary to address a world on fire.”

The letter, published Thursday morning by National Security Leaders for Biden, is the latest in a series of calls for President Trump’s defeat in the November election."
