    I saw a headline today that Biden is taking a 14-point lead in the election, after the debates. I'm assuming that his coronavirus made no impact.

    So, it seems that people want Biden after the debates. People looked at him and said yes, he's going to be my president.

    But, I'm at a loss for words. Trump is loosing at the polls. Can someone explain this outcome??? I actually have no idea why a majority of people think this way about Biden.

    That +14 poll was an outlier, just like the +3 polls was. If you roughly average the last 3 major polls (+14, +10, +3), you get Biden +9, which is more reasonable.

    The liberals own the media. They make sure Trump is portrayed in a negative way as much as feasible while ignoring anything positive about his actions.

    They're also counting on voters' poor memory of Trump rallying tens of thousands while Biden had trouble getting a hundred or so to attend.

    I didn't see the debate but was told that it was managed in a lopsided way to give Biden favored opportunity while sidelining Trump.

    I agree with you, national polls don't mean much.

    Where it hurts the most is in the states that Trump can't afford to lose.

    Florida: Biden +2%
    Pennsylvania: Biden +6.5%
    Ohio: Biden +2.5%
    Michigan: Biden +5.2%
    Arizona: Biden +3.5%
    Minnesota: Biden +9%
    Wisconsin: Biden +5.5%

    Georgia and North Carolina are virtualy tied...

    Obviously, all polls are wrong....

    Exactly. People watched him go full lunatic in the debates, and after ignoring well established guidelines for COVID, saying it was nonsense, he gets COVID. Now, questions about the honesty of his doctors is in question, because he has literally no credibility when it comes to truth telling.

    I'm predicting nothing, because people are unpredictable, and well, Joe is Joe.

    If Trump loses, he literally has nowhere to look except the mirror.

    NBC owns MSNBC and so I am inclined to take their polling results with an entire dump truck load of salt. Coincidentally I came across independent polling today claiming that Trump is ahead of Biden in battle ground states. I was going to post about it but I get tired of these "Your poll is lying. No! YOUR poll is lying" back and forth things that settle zip.

    Some polling companies are obviously either lying or so incompetently operated that they might as well be lying. We will know the truth of it in November, however. Meanwhile I default to both logic and history. Logically Trump is out there all the time holding MASSIVE rallies while Biden is cowering in his basement; and when he does schedule a rally event there are almost always more camera technicians showing up than supporters. Note that pretty much the exact same thing happened back in 2016 between Trump and Hillary and yet back then the polling returns were aimed at trying to convince Trump supporters to not even bother to show up for voting since Hillary had such a HUGE lead in . . . their polls.

    Go through and see what Hillary polled in those same states.

    Trump won Florida, Ohio, Michigan, Arizona and Wisconsin. I think they'll all go back to Trump but Minnesota will flip to Trump due to the Democrats in charge doing little to nothing to stop the riots.

    Biden appeared presidential in the debate while Trump appeared like a loud-mouthed bully with nothing in his performance that was worth listening to.

    The poll number that jumps out to me is for voters 65 & over. Biden went from + 4% to +27%. Surprised as I was by this, those #s indicate, after everything else, it was this debate that finally made seniors en masse, say, "enough!" And, historically speaking (though this is anything but a normal year), older voters have been the most reliable voter demographic! While more twists & turns probably lie ahead, if this NBC/Wall St. Journal poll is accurate, the key to this election might turn out to be good manners. Never underestimate the importance of being polite!
