Capitol is on lockdown as pro-Trump demonstrators try to break into the building

Yup.

Trump incited this riot (which is a Federal Offense) and he needs to resign.

Congress Members (and heir staffs) were literally hiding under desks fearing for their lives.

Apparently, when questioned about the Vandalism, destruction, and breaching of offices, etc.--The Capitol Police are claiming that they were overwhelmed and had to prioritize the personal safety of the people in the building over any possible property damage.

Imagine if these were foreign terrorists?

They would have been blown away.

But, b/c they are Trump-supporting Domestic Terrorists, they get a pass.

That story about Rep. Linda Sanchez telling her husband (last night) to locate her will is chilling.

Hard to imagine that Law Enforcement (pre-emptively) failed so massively.

 

Some DC store owners stated they knew of this possibility long before today because of all the chatter they were seeing on social media. According to them, this was a planned event, and they’re shocked that the police weren’t better prepared.

And I'm glad nobody finds it odd that one of the most guarded buildings in the country, with every single member of Congress in it, was overrun by 10-15 unarmed people.
