I figure adding all taxes - federal, state and local, about 75% of our income goes to taxes - and at least 85% of our work time is working for the government, foreign governments, illegal immigrants, alcoholics, drug addicts and graft such as Biden, Pelosi and all the rest.

 

Obama care is welfare for the rich. It shifted the cost of indigent healthcare from property taxes - that most high the rich's personal and business property - shifting it to working people - plus using co-pay as an excuse to refuse indigent care - while falsely claiming it is insurance for the poor.

 

Yes the middle class is paying too much. But we tax less than every other modern country. And we have a flat tax system if you count all taxes. Once again the GOP propaganda machine totally missinforms.

 

That is some serious garbage propaganda there. Of course the rich should be taxed more. Talk to Republicans about it. We have had Reagan giveaway to the rich tax rates since 19 87 at least

 

No our tax rate on average for the country is 42%. Low among modern countries.

People did not just magically get lazy and stupid. Republicans have been cutting opportunities training and education funding for 40 years.

You are surprised that Biden plans to raid the Social Security Surplus in order to give it away to government union workers that already enjoy a far more secure retirement than their private sector counterparts?

If Government workers want to get social security benefits, that's fine, but after they have paid in to the system for the same period as any other retiree.

Weird how government folks do seem to think the purpose of government is to benefit government workers, not serve We The People.

If Biden wants to give Social Security Benefits to government workers that haven't paid into the system, what are his thoughts on paying government pensions to private sectors folks that haven't paid into the government workers pension system?

Let's all give each other pensions and let the kids working 3 part time jobs trying to pay off their college loans pay for it. Has anyone asked Bernie's opinion? After all, his supporters will be picking up part of the tab.

College loans are out of control. we're trying to think about the good of the country instead of being greedy idiots..... We need to tax the rich and giant corporations their fair share and invest in cheap college and training like the competition does so we can no longer have 6 million good tech jobs going begging etc etc.... University should be cheap enough so the people take some liberal arts courses so they know what the hell is going on in the world instead of just their own jargon.

 

What exactly is wrong with having healthcare daycare cheap collage and training great infrastructure and vacations and ID card to an illegal immigration like Canada and every other modern country that is not a brainwashed GOP mess?

Example: The light rail from my home
to the city of Riverside requires me to
"drive & park" to the station.
Catch the train going hardly faster than a car
and add multiple stops time.
And somehow get from the Riverside station
to my destination.
After my business in Riverside, reverse the above.
A one hour private car commute easily becomes 2 - 3 hours.
That's 2 hours vs 4 - 6 hours of commuting.
