You posted a hypothetical opinion. Thank you for that. Your opinion does for refute the fact I posted or you would be able to post the year and the dollar amount. Nuh uh! is not a valid argument.

Tax cuts have never resulted in a loss of revenue for the federal government.

The suggestion didn't address 'what benefit for society' that's another subject.

No, I'm only proposing fair method of taxation by the government. Whether it will actually cover the Government's needs, i don't know, it would have to be analyzed, which I haven't done.

If you are in a taxable bracket, the government does have a legitimate claim on a portion of it. The precise portion depends on how much income.

That is not something " I see", that is not an opinion, nor does it depend on my opinion, that is a statement of fact.

So you see my labor as government property and the end game is to use my labor to cover government needs? That is a communist position.

I am not in the slightest bit interested in penetrating the little bubble you have built around yourself; it’s a complete waste of time.
    Have nice day.

I appreciate discussing opinions, but the fact I posted remains unchallenged. Deficits are the result of spending. Can you post the year and the dollar amount where you believe the federal government brought in less due to tax cuts?

I pointed out basic math. I'm sorry if that is too difficult for you.
I didn't offer an opinion. I pointed out a mathematical fact.
tax cuts result in a loss of revenue every single time they are made, because..................................math

If you had facts on your side, you wouldn't have to resort to cheap insult attempts. Results are already in and the math has already been done for you. Please post the year and the dollar amount that refutes the fact that:

Tax cuts have never resulted in a loss of revenue for the federal government.

I've done this already. 22% of something is always less than 29% of something. this is basic grade school math. We know the economy didn't suddenly take off after trump cut taxes. Every economic metric remained on the same unchanging trend line from 2010 until the pandemic hit. So, we know that revenue was decreased because the rate at which we collected revenue was decreased. This is very , very basic stuff.

Your statement (In bold) is false. The value of "something" would have to be a constant. It never is.

Your second false statement (Also in bold) is why you cannot produce a year and dollar amount.

Tax cuts have never resulted in a loss of revenue for the federal government.

    math is false? lol ok.

Oh, it's suppositions is it? Why then do you have a different 'enough' for every person on assistance? Surely if this was all supposition, and untrue, pretty much everyone on welfare would deem it 'enough', yes?

Meantime it has nothing to do with cynicism, and everything to do with the realities of the human condition. If you attribute some kind of emotion to stating such facts, that merely reflects your own emotion-based approach.

Exactly! Ignoring the elephant in the room reveals their true motives (hint - it's not elevation of the human condition).

After the Clinton tax rate increase tax revenue growth slowed from 9% to 7%.
After the Gingrich/Kaisch tax rate decrease tax revenue growth hit 10%
After the Bush43/Rep tax rate decrease tax revenue growth hit 15%

Some would claim it's a simply first grade static math equation 1+1=2 when in fact it is a very involved dynamic economics equation far about 6th grade civics.

That is a communist position. The fruits of ones labor was once as asset for slave owners. Now, more than half my labor is for the government.
