The right to bear arms referred to the right to take up arms if needed, to form militia and train. Not for would be cowboys to brag about the arsenal of military grade weapons in their shed, that then get taken to college by hormone driven teenagers or pointed at neighbours by men with anger management issues.

 

Wasn't it more created to fight against their own government if they became tyrannical hence nowadays it would be fighting against missiles and jets with hand guns. The reason for the inclusion of the second is now redundant. But gun owners do love their guns. I think it's quite funny when they post pictures of their guns to show off to other gun lovers.
