Ok, anyone who is reading this thread can easily type in Amazon.com and see it for themselves. It does change, but each change has been another way to promote black businesses.

Amazon is an american owned business. They should be trying to help all american owned businesses. Duh... Compartmentalizing things (including businesses) by race and giving preferential/discriminatory treatment based on skin color is the very DEFINITION of racism. Duh.

I understand you, I would ask exactly the same questions as you, this is the reason I spent some time to see if everyone can see.
First I logged out and tried to find it - no success.
I logged into my account and:
clicked on upper right button "Shop Valentine's Day deals"
New button appeared "Support Black entrepreneurship"
I clicked and then appeared button "Shop Black-owned businesses"

Now I am not sure how it happen the first time, because I noticed it when I was shopping for groceries. I don't remember clicking on "Support Black entrepreneurship" - but hey, you never know far from Dr. Alzheimer you live.

Nope. I, unlike you, provided proof proving your claim wrong. It’s telling that you won’t post a snapshot of your screen. It’s easy to do.

You mean like I did in post #8? So far, I’ve provided proof....you haven’t. Game over.

This conversation with you is getting boring. It's a common website that takes two seconds to go to. No reason to waste time with screenshots and editing my name off of it. Have a nice day.

I like AMAZON, I usually get pretty good deals and fast delivery. I also never paid one bit attention to their bar. AMAZON or any one else can put that shop at any place they want, but as long as I'm a satisfied customer, I don't care. This could be someone looking for something racist that really isn't racist, but that someone wants us to consider it racist.

It's black history month, so perhaps that has something to do with it. Black History month doesn't bother me either or any other colored history month, white, red, black, brown, yellow, blue, purple. I don't pay any attention to that either. As long as any company keeps me satisfied as a customer, I will continue to shop them. I don't care what others think about them.

Politics of a company won't stop me from being a customer as long as I get good service, good deals and I like what they have to sell.

It’s really not hard for you to provide your proof. I provided mine showing Amazon has different things in that spot. When I opened Amazon it was something for Valentine’s Day. Took me less than 30 seconds to edit my name out. Your schedule that busy is it??? Hahaha

Since when is a color considered a race?
I doubt we will go back to white only drinking fountains. No need to be so skeeered.

Amazon likely did this to promote black history month.

They seem to have this need to make more of benign things than need be.

My guess is it's related to being black history month.

What is the difference if you buy the same thing for the same price from a black or white retailer? Seriously? Why does this matter? What the heck is going on with this race drama? It's all so pointless
