Funny thing about representative governments. Sometimes you lose.

 

Rush downplayed the top risks of smoking for years.....till he found out he had lung cancer.

 

What’s the problem with asking?

I’ve been long enough to have seen how some folks some both sides act in this situation.

What’s the problem? It’s true, and if you’re not one of the guilty party, it’s shouldn’t be anything of which to be personally ashamed. But if people are going to call out one side, I’m going to remind them of the other.

It was the politization of AIDS and especially how people who voluntarily, free choice, continued to first deny and then continue to engage in the activities that caused the spread of AIDS even attacking people who said it was and by far it was primarily a homosexual disease. He was actually countering the spin the left was engaged in and actually was causing MORE deaths. His segment was shortlived and he later said he regretted doing it.

 

A 2nd stimulus would've saved the economy. People and their businesses lost 10's of thousands of dollars a month in revenue and you think a 2nd stimulus check would've made a dent....come on.

The left got exactly what they wanted, americans suffering so they could use it against trump....bravo. Plenty on the left even openly admitted they wanted the economy to worsen if it meant trump could be beaten in 2020.

 

The worst part for me is the complete disregard for the side affects of shutting down the economy. All of the sudden, crime didn't matter, suicides didn't matter, drug use didn't matter, businesses failing and closing didn't matter, people's ability to make a living didn't matter, etc. All that mattered was the election.

 

Why is that?

One needs to be educated before one can be an educator.
It requires a college degree.

 

All good sentiments - commendable. But when posted on a discussion board, news of a person's death is going to be discussed. And when that person was as controversial as Limbaugh, there will be differing opinions of the man. I posted his own comments to let them speak for themselves.

 

The one notable exception being Trump and John McCain...and Trump vs anyone he crossed paths with.

Otherwise, it has more to do with the type of person you are, not your policies. Everyone was respectful of John McCain except for Trump. RBG is in the same category IMO. President Bush one, great guy personally and highly respected by everyone.
Not so much Limbaugh.

Many millions of people all separately going for the same goal does not a conspiracy make....

 

The economy will continue to be in peril till pandemic is dealt with. This is world wide. We have international trade with travel among all the successful economies of the world. It’s a health problem FIRST.

Why some people like Rush and Hannity think that opening restaurants while people are dying is short sighted. Trump and his supporters pushed this narrative till it was obvious it was wrong. If Trump had relied on science, kept his mouth shut, he’d still be in office.

 

But, covid disappeared on 11/4/20. Just like the trump people said it would. Since it was a fake pandemic.

It was make up by Democrats who are struggling now to get it under control. If Rush was only here for advice instead of Fauci.

You seem to measure success and intelligence by how many years one has spent in a school of learning. There comes a point when intelligent individuals see through the façade of most teachers and understand they can achieve their dream and be successful withoutbeing taught. There are those who learn by doing. I would say Henry Ford, Sean Hannity and Rush Limbaugh are prime examples. I do , however, understand how that infuriates you..... the fact there are those 100 times more successful than yourself without attending the University of Indoctrination (AKA UOI)

 

Trump is but 1 single person.

 

I think what he meant to say is that nobody expected T**** could do anything to fix the economy issues he created and some people took it the wrong way...

 

I have a college degree and I know a teaching job does not pay well. Thus why I never considered it.

 

No, I measure success by knowing what you don’t know and a willingness to depend on those who do. Yes, institutes of higher learning, research facilities, our own intel and all the major corporations of the world. Sorry, imo, you can’t be successful by disagreeing with everyone of them and concluding your personal opinion is more reliable.
