FYI, I believe SCOTUS will hear PA vote fraud cases this Friday. Of course Biden has tried to intimidate SCOTUS decisions with his threats of court packing.

As you say all elections have fraud. What is different in this election is the high percentage of absentee ballots. The degree to which fraud involving absentee ballots took place during this last election is a judgement for history.

Interestingly, two of Trump's recent judges didn't dissent: Barrett and Kavanaugh. Maybe there is hope for them.

You mean the 3 hour event where some glass was broken and some doors damaged and 1 person shot and killed by capital police was an insurrection? It surely wasn't or the 10's of thousands that were protesting outside would have taken total control of the capital building and held it. You know, similar to the federal building in Spokane or the various police stations across the country that were taken and burnt to the ground.

And as I've said time and time again... Those who entered and did damage to the building or attacked officers should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

I experienced several of my leftist friends telling me that last summer's BLM/antifa riots were actually "white supremecists" acting as if they were from those groups.

If this was an "insurrection" it was a pretty poor one, wasn't it? It appears that, all in all, it amounted to unlawful entry and some vandalism. Which isn't ok. Therefore, I think those who committed those crimes ought to be subject to the same arrests and sentences that the criminals of last summer's riots experienced.

 

The right in this country has become the x-file party. EVERYTHING is a conspiracy against them. Facts dont matter, only emotion. They used to say the left was the party of "feel good" (emotions), to now the right playing to the same emotion only that emotion is "the other guy is stealing from you".

The right went from the party of "personal responsibility, to the party of "everyone is against us", and everything is a conspiracy against us. When you have republicans openly running for office while espousing the beliefs of Q-anon, and many other thoroughly debunked conspiracies. They have become a fact-less party, playing solely to the emotion of the base.

The fact that 70% of the party still actually believe that the election was stolen, while having absolutely no proof, and actual proof to the contrary, we as a country might be irreparably broken

 

No one who watched the events unfold, or, has seen any of the evidence produced since the events of the day, would sensibly THINK that way, more so believing in want you want to be true rather than what is actually true

 

I believe some but not all of the Friday cases were dismissed.

I don't think that even a small fraction of them actually think that. This election fraud business is just a cover.

We've been over this before, these people don't believe any of this bs. They know they lost. They're aware that the REAL fraud was all on THEIR side and Trump got far fewer votes than the "results" showed. They don't CARE that Trump lost and the vast majority of voters hate him. These people despise Democracy anyway, they're quite clear on that. They use conventional politics until it no longer works for them, then they use something else, their favorite being violence.

I'm really surprised that they still fool as many as they do. They did write an actual handbook covering both their manifested tactics and disguised ideology some years ago.
