If the jury did not believe they proved the cause of death, he should have been acquitted. That would have been reasonable doubt. I am not sure what point you are trying to make.
The illegal drugs did not kneel on his neck for more than 9 minutes, 3 of which he had stopped moving at all.
"One rather explosive revelation is an admission from forensic pathologist Dr. Lindsey Thomas that, if Floyd’s body had been alone at home with the same level of deadly narcotics in his system as was found in his autopsy, she could have easily ruled the death was the result of a drug overdose." Forensic Pathologist: If We Found George Floyd at Home with That Amount of Fentanyl and Meth, It Would Be an Overdose (westernjournal.com)
Exactly. The pathologist offered a possible scenario that COULD have taken place. But we'll never know because he never made it home.
That is not the point. The question is whether it can absolutely positively determined that is was not the drugs that killed him. I am very surprised that the witnesses for the prosecution were able to say that there was no doubt that the pressure on his neck was what killed him. I am equally surprised that the defense did not push harder against their testimony. He was already saying he could not breathe.
....how many times had Floyd been arrested?...Why was he put on the ground?....Did he die?....Murder?...Lets face it,...if George Floyd had complied, he would still be alive...I have been stopped by some real tough policemen in my life, and was made to walk the line...I never risited the police
It's what the coroner said, lol. Of course, perp was black, so we know where liberals stand. As long as the perp is black it matters not what he did. He's innocent as the driven snow.
It is stated he died of asphyxiation, which can mean either physical or chemical. We know Floyd had enough drugs to kill a person several times over. We know he had severe blockage in his arteries. what we DONT know is how much pressure was exuded on him by Chauvins leg. Given that Floyd was complaining of breathing issues looooong before he was ever placed on the ground, in addition to not resisting after he was placed on the ground which doesn’t make sense if he’s being suffocated by chauvins leg, the preponderance of the evidence suggests he died of chemical asphyxiation. All of this begs the question: do you know what “beyond a reasonable doubt” even means?
No doubt Floyd shouldn’t have resisted. He chose to resist and that was beyond stupid. But Chauvin chose to kneel on Floyd’s neck for over 8 mins while Floyd was face down and handcuffed. Both made very poor choices. But Chauvin had lots of time to rethink what he was doing and stop but didn’t. Hell, one of the other officers asked Chauvin twice if they should roll Floyd to his side and Chauvin ignored the pleas both times.
Floyd shouldn't have swallowed a lethal dose of drugs. You'd think he'd have learned this the first two times he overdosed. But, no. He was your typical liberal.
Idiot statement. Of course he didn't die the previous two times. He wasn't trying to steal $20 in tobacco the other two times.
You calling Floyd my hero is proof you’re emotional over this. You have no argument so you lash out with lies. I’ve already blamed Floyd for his part and you know it. So stop with your blatant lies.
Um yeah....you seem confused. People who view Floyd as a hero don’t put any blame on him for his part. I do. What he did was incredible stupid. But hey...feel free to continue lying. It’s seems to be your thing.
He deserved to be convicted of something. I am glad cell phones are out there capturing these types of things. I just caution people if the most you are getting is a 30 second clip, odds are the person posting it is trying to feed you a false narrative or hide the context of the incident to that end.
No, he was convicted by a jury. The cell phone videos were evidence in the case. There were other videos as well.
