There has never been any real data on the effectiveness of the Russian vaccines. I think Sputnik is the only one that is even widely used there.

As for whether or not to take them, I have already rung a bell that cannot be unrung. If it kills me, so be it.

Other than the extremely rare side effects/complications, I recently heard a piece on NPR about HIV/AIDS patients not building up any antibodies well after they should be teeming with them, so there does seem to be some gaps that need filling.

 

Make-a-Wish simply stated it will not send children to situations and travel that was risky until medical guidance assured children are medically safe. Many of these children are vulnerable because of their health.

So, after the moral outrage has subsided. The issue seem clear. The foundation has a duty of care to the children its seeks to help, the vast majority of whom suffer from conditions likely to have compromised immune systems due to the nature of their conditions and treatments and medications they receive. Conducting their normal activities until such time as the pandemic is under control or the children are vaccinated risks exposing them to virus and compromising their health.
