At a time when the left are for open immigration and letting in hundreds of thousands of illegals every year across our Southern border, we turn tail and run in Afghanistan, leaving behind hundreds of thousands to be beheaded or worse and basically tell them, "sorry about your luck, you're on your own, no matter what happens - your problem, not ours. We're outta here.".

I don't think Biden's plan to bring back the troops from the Middle East originated with him. I think it was part of President Trumps proposed foreign policy. He cut the number of troops there in 2019.

 

You're talking apples vs. oranges. We trained 30,000 Afghan military and equipped them with the latest, most modern equipment. What we couldn't do is give them the will to defend their own country. Whether we left a year ago or 20 years from now things would not be different. The Afghan's have bowed to the Taliban just as the Iraqui's bowed to us back in the early 2000's.

 

The LEFT isn't just open for immigration, the 10 or 12 democrat candidates for president in 2020 all said they were on board with open immigration, and if you've been paying attention to the border crisis these past 6 months where all of Trump's effective border policies had been quickly reversed by biden to now we're seeing unprecedented record breaking infiltration of illegals through that border on a daily basis. You need to tune into FOX TV so as to get full video access of the horrendous breakdown of the illegals streaming across our border. And of course biden and his useless border czar are nowhere to be found near that crisis territory.

 

Afghans are not important to the biden Administration. Future democrat voters on the other hand are very much so. It makes perfect sense.

 

I did support the Iraq invasion. I did also support going into Afghanistan to get Bin Laden. And, it was nice that we temporarily turned Afghanistan into a democracy. The whole thing is a tough call but just up and leaving the country to let it quickly fall turned the whole thing into even being worse than when we left Vietnam. I don't know what would have happened differently under Trump because Trump also wanted us out of these places. So, it may have been no different under Trump. Probably what we should have done was just bomb the crap out of the Taliban in the first place. It was kind of stupid to just leave all of these Taliban around and then leave.

 

Oh please. The left do everything they can to let these people in while claiming they are not for open borders. Give me a break.
