Be honest. Who is more likely to be attacked for a bumper sticker and who who is likely to be doing the attacking?
No, actually that isn't the case. What has been wrought today is the fundamental idea that if folks attack you and your person, you are, as written into every concept of self defense, privileged to protect yourself from folks who would do you harm, bodily injury or death. I know, this isn't a concept in the old Soviet, so this may be new, but FFS this is the United States. And no. We don't give carte blanc to attack anyone. I can see how confused you seem to be. Read a book. it might help. I think your prediction is ridiculous on its face. What I see happening is that the left wing thugs like BLM and ANTIFA just got a dose of reality that their thuggery and terrorism aren't going to be tolerated anymore. And why, again, are you defending that behavior here? And last, these "dead people" you worry about... perhaps they shouldn't have attacked someone with the intent to kill or do great bodily harm. I get why democrats and authoritarians don't like this decision. It fundamentally reduces the effectiveness of your mob when folks recongize they don't have to tolerate being threatened like that again. Cry somewhere else.
The people I care about, aren't that stupid to attack people with an AR 15. Hows it going with the people you care about?
I have NO reason to believe someone 25 or 35 or 45 or 55 or whatever age would have just let himself be attacked and either killed or be seriously injured. Utter conjecture and supposition on your part with no basis. No it was not excessive use of force and the prosecution tried to go there with their hyperbolic and specious harking on the "it was a FULL METAL JACKET". I'm believe the jury saw right through that.
I guess that's a difference between you and I. I was in a situation like this in my life, and it isn't easy for the families no matter the situation. Hopefully you never have to experience it other than in the news and on message boards.
So the people you care about, thinks anyone with an AR 15 is an active shooter and would attack them? Guess you will be of those sitting in a courtroom angry about the ones you care about who died for nothing but their own idiocy.
The problem with that wishful thinking is the same thing that was wrong with your wishful thinking that he would be convicted. It's all on video. Kyle is going to be a very rich man. The fake news media told more lies about Kyle Rittenhouse than they told about Nick Sandmann. He's not going to be mortgaged as ****, he's going to be so rich he could buy the bank when he's done suing the fake news media.
So true....Next time, the guy with the handgun might just take out the active shooter, we give him a medal, and everybody moves on... Save the cost of a trial...
Yes the defense would have known and he would have been questioned on the stand about it andnif the defense had not been told imagine another motion for a mistrial would have been entered.
I can’t believe how big this case was. I actually got a random message from apple on my iPhone with the verdict
That could be part of a larger issue, but the jury responsibility was very narrow...the laws concerning self defense. Larger social issues need discussion somewhere else.
Man Rosenbaum would have met his fate with any armed adult, including you. The difference is he thought he could bully and hurt this kid in his out of mind state since he hadn't had his mental pills for 10 days. Hopefully there are several that learn lessons for today. First the prosecution in Kenosha started this mess by doctoring video and releasing it to the public to say their own police shot a black man for no reason after the George Floyd tragedy. They literally lit the flame that set their city on fire. As we now know this guy was trying to kill his girl and the officer with a knife and the police did exactly as they should. I hope all young men are reminded that if you carry, which is your right, be very very careful what you engage in with that firearm, it could become life or death in a moments notice and it's best to avoid all together. I hope this prosecution is disbarred for violating constitutional rights during this case, it's unbelievable. I also hope DA's around the country learn you might want to get the evidence in and watch it before you arrest for political purpose. Lastly, I hope these leftie rioters learn they better be more protest than riot moving forward because America will not stand for you burning our cities. You will be met with opposition and if you better be very careful who you decide to attack.
You might wanna learn the definition of “active shooter” I see you are repeating CNN talking points like a good democrat
Yes, I knew which is what I said what I said. They don't need to be experts and its the lawyers job to persuade them, and yes, they also get instructions from the judge. As I said I have faith in the system.
If he thought he was an active shooter, why didn't he shoot him? He didn't shoot him because he knew that would include a murder charge. Plus that fact that you don't know the definition of an active shooter.
I encourage you to do so. Please get training also. It's good to have armed and trained individuals walking around.
I have to agree. Perhaps for different reasons. First, this is a very blue area. The judge, the DA/Prosecution team all democrats. The media was almost unanimously against him. And yet, the right decision was reached. Self Defense in this nation survives another assault from the left. Another hit to the "sit down and shut up" manner of democrats has taken it directly on the chin today. The violence of democratic thuggery was rebuked today. But you're shocked... do tell... LOL
Right, he saw a kid with a gun and thought he can bully him. An adult would not have ended up in that situation in the first place, and if they had, many others would have used non-lethal force, like the Marine who called him a babbling idiot. He would have kicked his ass as opposed to killing him.
