Biden announces new sanctions on Russian banks and country’s elites as he decries Russia’s ‘brutal assault’ on people of Ukraine

President Biden outlined the sanctions against Russia after it launched a full-scale attack against Ukraine. "Putin is the aggressor. Putin chose this war and now he and his country will bear the consequences," Biden said in remarks from the White House.

Maybe you should catch up on those Ukrainian Banderaites and their ideological roots.

    Here's a start.

Russia is too big to be treated as a North Korea!

    Blame THE WEST
for advancing deployments up to the Russian border.
    Contrary to agreements

NATO should withdraw to 1945 lines.
    Anything less is "hegemony".

We should use our military to contain him in Ukraine. But if we turn them into North Korea, it's not in anyone's interest. They should tailor sanctions to ensure minimal harm to the Russian people. Putin doesn't have much time left to run the country. When he dies, if the Russian people are hurting because of us, it only ensures someone like him takes his place.

Contain until he is dead. See who the Russians pick next. If the wrong choice, THEN we economically crush them. We must not lose our heads and take the long view

We will not make that mistake again. As in Germany in 1945, this time, after Putin is dead or removed, we should do our best to befriend and respect Russia. But as with Hitler, Putin just ensured that isn't going to happen until he's dead or in jail.

Putin is very much a sane person as you might know and He'll do anything possible to get what he wants. Don't underestimate what Putin can and will do. Putin is very dangerous and will strike at any time.

Well many would be surprised to know that before the invasion Poland wasn't a democracy and they did invade and seized territories from their neighbors in the 30's which can explain the resentment against Poles. I'm not saying it was ok or excusable...

Keep beating that drum that racism in the US is a major threat to us all. The real world is catching up to that ridiculous narrative.

Do you live in Taiwan? I do not think so. This is why many people hate Americans. They cannot find the country on the map, they have never been there, but they know better than anyone what the inhabitants of that country want.

It goes to show how much things can and usually do change in 80 years. It was barely the end of the era of empires just that long ago.

And while we are doing that, we should just hope he doesn't start lobbing nukes?

My leaders and media have shattered my trust by calling me a domestic enemy and conducting a 2 year long shaming campaign against me. So I don't know what to think about Nazi activity in the Donbas. I don't trust them.

    1. Assuming that the US and NATO did not want the flower to be picked -- they would not have made it clear that Ukraine could be admitted to NATO.
    2. They would have put some thorns on that flower.

When statues are erected glorifying these murderers and parades are held, yeah, they are relevant.

Putin has an extremely potent anti-air capability, some of the most sophisticated in the world, and a lot of it. This isn't Iraq. Russia also has its own SF capability, and they are very good. Sending SEALs to Moscow would likely be a suicide mission. Certainly not a smart way to spend the lives of our soldiers. Our cyber warfare capability is far more defensive than offensive. Putin's cyber warfare capability is much more offensive, and they have a lot of practice at it.

We probably will need to confront Putin militarily. Hopefully our generals have better ideas than yours.

I am very familiar with Taiwan and its history.

What exactly do you think I got wrong?

All I say is to do it instead of announcing what you intend to do. Brandon often announces complete with dates and locations. What an idiot.
