Biden and o bung hole offered 75 million in non military aid. Now while at war Biden said he would give the Ukraine 350 million in aid. I've never been in the military, but it seems to me you can't kill the enemy with a stack of money or even a pile of equipment without one essential component. Soldiers. Russia has much more of them than Ukraine. It has more money and piles of equipment too. Look at Germany in WWII. Eventually they ran out of the skilled soldiers to use the equipment, rendering that equipment somewhat useless. No soldiers, or not enough of them, to use the equipment turns that equipment into giant paperweights. Lets stop pretending like we could have funded Ukraine out of being invaded by a much much larger enemy like Russia. You could give them 500 billion dollars and it wouldn't make a difference. It might buy them a few more days but would never stop the inevitable. The only way we could have attempted to protect Ukraine is military intervention. All of you tough talkers out there, stop fooling yourselves in your partisan circle jerks. There is only one real choice here. Go to war with Russia or not.
You do realize this is conveniently leaving out the reason Trump was impeached the first time. He withheld military aid from Ukraine to get dirt on Biden. And even then, this was not solely Trumps effort. It was Congress that funded Ukraine. And I guess we can say one more thing- do you really think a pro isolationist president like Trump would have intervened at all in Ukraine? Or do you think he would have kept cheering on Putin like he is now?
