Because they entered, or attempted to enter, through Mexico, they were denied because Trump's "remain in Mexico" policy is still in effect per the Supreme Court. If it were not, they would have been allowed to enter under the US refugee program that Trump pretty much dismantled when he was President.

I never said or alluded to, it was Trump's fault, I gave you the facts of WHY they were not allowed to enteer period under the protocols currently established. I don't see why they should get preferential treatment over Latino Asylum seekers. Asylum, unfortunately, is a well used ploy for people to shortcut into the US. Thus they stay in Mexico until its figured out, correct?

As others have pointed out, they are being treated exactly the same as anyone who claims asylum at the US Mexico border.

Not really, considering I live in the State of Texas and make frequent trips down the border, it was not pourous as you might think. Second, most of the illegals who entered without inspection, one of three ways an alien to be illegal, came through not by walking across the border, but hidden in cars, trucks, and big rigs as they pass the entry point. A signficant number did sneak across the border and in some places in the deadly heat in the Arizona desert.

However, EWI and their numbers is simply a symptom of a much more larger, complex issue.

 

It's not that complex, the border States are flooded with immigrants legal or undocumented however one wishes to lable them. I live in Texas too and you don't have to go to the border to see this. The problem is crap economies in the Southern hemisphere and the attraction their rich neighbor presents to them. They do what comes natural, if we don't want to simply surrender our country it's up to us to protect it.

 

Your argument is aluding that you are also against legal immigrants which leads me to believe that you know nothing about immigration whatsoever.

But then again, I live in Texas which has a shared history with Spain, Mexico, and in the SE, France to some extent.
