This pope?....That's another topic. He's got history of being involved in politics. Particularly CIA sponsored death squads that operated in South America. Francis is not an angel.

America isn't getting our footage from US agents right now. It's Europeans that are giving the world most of the footage and stories. Along with Russia giving theirs.

Gas has been rising since Biden took office but all of the sudden Russia is to blame for high gas prices. US was energy independent before Biden took office. Ukraine/Russia is just a way for Biden to not take blame. Ukraine/Russia aren't to blame for our Domestic Supply Chain problems that started a year ago either. The stats are available for anyone to see. It's just convenient that the potential WW3 conflict is happening and a good way for Biden to deflect before the midterms.

So Belarus says it will allow Russian nukes on its territory in fact on Nato borders. It is no more buffer zone apparently. Now according to Putin Nato should attack Belarus or at least put nukes in Ukraine. :D

Mariupol today, courtesy of the shitbag Zelensky. This is what a city looks like that uses civilians for shields.

Even this is far better than any western news agency:

    • An elite Ukrainian drone unit has been striking Russian targets with anti-tank grenades while troops sleep.
    • The drone unit has destroyed dozens of "priority targets" including Russian tanks, command trucks and other vehicles.
    • Ukrainian forces have had surprising success in using drones to destroy Russian equipment.
      The Times of London reported.

Aerorozvidka, a specialist air reconnaissance unit within the army, says it has destroyed dozens of "priority targets" including Russian tanks, command trucks, and other vehicles in nighttime raids, the paper reported.

Russian forces stop moving during the night and typically hide their tanks in between houses in villages where conventional artillery cannot strike them, Yaroslav Honchar, the unit commander based in Kyiv, told the paper.

But the elite drone unit, which has dozens of squads of expert drone pilots, has these stationary vehicles in its cross-hairs.

"We strike at night, when Russians sleep," Honchar told the paper. "In the night it's impossible to see our drones."

"We look specifically for the most valuable truck in the convoy and then we hit it precisely and we can do it really well with very low collateral damage. Even in the villages, it's possible. You can get much closer at night," he said.

Ukraine is beating Russia at its own game. What Russia will do next, it will be like pulling out more stops.

Old saying, frequently used by Americans during the Cold War, 'He's a son of a bitch, but he's OUR son of a bitch.'
Sometimes we can't be chosers - and that's where Ukrainians found themselves at times as they were buffeted by
Germany, Poland and Russia. It's of interest that FAMINES ARE A FEATURE OF COMMUNISM. And these famines
    happened for two reasons
    1 - incompetence
    2 - political control

Famines were particularly bad under the Bolshevkis (Lenin's political tool) and the Communist (Stalin's genocide) and
Mao (mass murder through both incompetence and ideology) and North Korea (ideology.)
There's about a 100 million dead right there. We in Australia go through an endless cycle of droughts and floods but
there's no famines. Hasn't been famines in Europe for centuries, other than the Irish potato one.
The mass murder of millions under Stalin went way beyong normal climate cycles. And not only could Stalin control the
rebellions in Ukraine, he could mass migrate millions of ethnic Russians into the country to Russify it. Clever move.

An excellent take. The Russians flipped the map.

US military expert Scott Ritter, a former serviceman, who saw action in Iraq, who dealt with the Soviets, who is not on Russia’s side, talks about military operation in Ukraine: why Russia started the operation, when the operation will be over, fate of the petrodollar and global economic impact

The Russians are not hated. You're paying too much attention to the propaganda networks. Actually Moscow has 40 thousand requests from volunteers willing to fight for Russia from the Middle East and Africa. We're the ones who are hated.

The US is connected to the international gas market, same as it is for all other markets. And its not a US domestic supply chain problem, it's global.

The entire world has seen a spike in inflation since the COVID lock downs started easing off. You think two years of pent up demand with industries restarting after mass layoffs and shut down or in low rate production mode isn't going to cause supply shortages, bottlenecks and rising prices when demand suddenly returns? Hell the first thing that went up was international freight shipping. It's not like all the worlds pre-COVID merchant tonnage was sunk once the lock downs started and not just lying idle. It was all there ready to be used but but when demand took off after the hiatus the shipping lines couldn't cope. Wat changed? The demand or container space..

Sans the war the spike in inflation would have eased off naturally over a couple of years as supply chains got back up to speed and that pent up demand got dealt with. Everything would have headed back towards pre-COVID equilibrium. But we did get a major war and all the sanctions and problems that come with that. And its turning out to be the extra topping everybody wanted (not) on the world's inflationary **** sandwich.

How about this bit from a Greek site:

An ultimatum was delivered by the Russian Ministry of Defense to Ukraine regarding the surrender of Mariupol. The ultimatum is a few hours old and expires early Monday morning. "We know that in the current situation, little depends on you, since you are under the full control of the nationalist battalions, but we really hope that you, including the mayor of the city, have at least something elementary, human, at least a sense of compassion for the citizens who have trusted you," Mizintsev said.

"It is you who now have the right to make a historic choice – whether you are with your people or with the criminals. Otherwise the military court waiting for you is very little compared to what you really deserve because of the miserable behavior towards your own citizens, but also because of the terrible crimes and provocations that you have already committed." Mizintsev said.

"The rescued residents of Mariupol, about 60 thousand people, having been in full security in Russia, are now talking openly about the mass atrocities and crimes you have committed. We are recording all this very carefully," he added.

    HIYA!!!!
    Does this mean we're chums....!!!

Oh I hear that Aleksandr Bortnikov, head of FSB security agency, is allegedly being considered as Putin’s successor.....Putin presumably having been persuaded that his obvious talents are better suited to being discussed in a lunatic asylum...?

That's from the Greek sites......:)......or perhaps a great vector for psyops given the paranoia in and around Putin......bwahahaha.....

Funny how all the refugees weren't given the chance to choose which direction they went. Easy enough to do. Ethnic Russians who wanted to go East no problem. Everyone else that who wanted to stay in Ukraine- that way. It not as if the Yuki's haven't been asking for refugee pathways after all.

Gas has been rising since lockdowns have been coming to an end and demand for fossil fuels has been surging. It is an international issue, and it is a pernicious partisan lie that Biden is at fault for this. It's a crying shame how readily the RINO party relies on outright lies for campaigning now.

Accountability for Russians, and no surrender in Mariupol.
Zelensky vows revenge for bombing of school where civilians were taking refuge
The Russian military has offered the Ukrainian troops defending the strategic port of Mariupol to lay down arms and exit the city via humanitarian corridors, but that proposal was quickly rejected by the Ukrainian authorities.

Col. Gen. Mikhail Mizintsev said Sunday that all Ukrainian soldiers could leave the Azov Sea port Monday using safe routes for evacuating civilians that had been previously agreed with Ukraine and head to areas controlled by the Ukrainian authorities. He said that “all those who lay down arms will be guaranteed a safe exit from Mariupol.”

Mizintsev added that Russia will wait until 5 a.m. Monday for a written Kyiv’s response to the Russian proposal for the Ukrainian troops to leave Mariupol but didn’t say what action Russia will take if its “humanitarian offer” is rejected.

Ukraine’s Deputy Prime Minister Iryna Vereshchuk said in remarks carried by Ukrainska Pravda news outlet that Kyiv already had told Russia that “there can be no talk about surrender and laying down weapons.” She rejected the Russian statement as “manipulation.”. . .

Speaking in a video address early Monday, Zelenskyy said about 400 civilians were taking shelter at the art school in the besieged Azov Sea port city when it was struck by a Russian bomb.

“They are under the rubble, and we don’t know how many of them have survived,” he said. “But we know that we will certainly shoot down the pilot who dropped that bomb, like about 100 other such mass murderers whom we already have downed.”. . .

So this is the same Russia we feared throughout the Cold War. So far it has not gotten more than a few kilometers
into Ukraine - as for sweeping tanks through Poland and Germany - not looking good for Russia.
