    Yeah...it's bad. And very unfortunate.

    The assets and hardware we have in Poland could push the Russkis back to somewhere near Volgograd almost.

    So do I.........and if what we see in glimpses on TV........is an example............it is one inhumane horror scene. It is hard to fathom living in such fear, /terror and seeing everything you know and care for being destroyed in the most ugly way possible........

    Someone I know from a political forum stopped speaking to me because I told him/her that it was unconstitutional for President Trump to enact martial law to forcibly go into people's home to vaccinate them against their will. It's not a secret I don't like him but that is one outrageous idea I do not believe he, King of Horrible Ideas, would have implemented.

    I bet all of us from all sides would come together and kick Biden's backside if he tried that kind of nonsense or cut off all our contact with the outside world. There are still so many things we have that other people have never even experienced.

    Where at least I know I'm free
    And I won't forget the men who died
    Who gave that right to me

    Putin way well detonate a small, tactical nuke in western Ukraine to intimidate the Ukrainians into surrendering. It could be detonated at altitude to preclude fallout and be of such a small yield that its effects wouldn't be felt in any NATO nation. I sort of expect him to do this.

    I sure bloody hope it doesn't end in a coup. A power vacuum in the world's second largest nuclear state is not desirable in any way shape or form.

    What we really need is for Putin to step back from the brink and sue for some sort of peace.

    Or to up our spending on fallout shelters considerably. The breakup of the USSR was risky enough for nuclear proliferation, a coup would be nothing but bad for the world.

    It's worth remembering that the Russian people are not lovey dovey liberal internationalists, a huge portion of them are supportive of Putin and Stalin, any successful coup will not look like we want it to.
