Americans Are “In Charge” of the War Says French Journalist Who Returned From Ukraine

Whoops. CNews is the second most watched news outlet in France. What some of us have known for quite some time, NATO forces (albeit special forces) have been in Ukraine since the start of the war. What a clown show it will be when some of them are rounded up and shown to the world.

Malbrunot said he had accompanied French volunteer fighters, two of whom had previously fought against ISIS.

French intelligence sources are not very reliable.

 

CNews is the second largest news outlet in France and Georges Malbrunot is a well established journalist who was once captured by ISIS while reporting from the ground in Syria.

Unlike the stupid fake news so-called journalists at places like CNN, FOX and the BBC.

Although Summit News occasionally sources to credible outlets they often link to Youtube videos and social media posts and then react with shock and outrage against the left, Muslims, and Feminists. They frequently promote conspiracy theories such as the Notre Dame Cathedral fire being set by arsonists. The source of this came from a Time journalist tweet, who then deleted the tweet within minutes, however, Summit News did not change their story. sure I mean.....there have been all sorts of Westerners in Ukraine right from the start.....we've had fellas giving interviews in-country to The Sun and Daily Mail. There are Americans, Canadians, French, Germans you name it they'd be there... also few really odd Belgians...those guys are really well trained demolitions types! Anyway a whole bunch of Walter Mittys have pottered off to the Ukraine from the Brit that looked like he'd just raided the nearest surplus store with every bit of kit still with the price tag on it to the a 78 year of ex-Guards Colonel....Can you imagine how easy it is to meet up with these guys and spin a tale they are NATO "special forces" troops...indeed some of them may well have been back in their day but there won't be any active guys there.

The real issue is that this "source" or whatever he is, is just prattling on about things he has no idea about. SAS and Delta etc. are strategic units not tactical ones, they don't get caught in bar brawls like this, so why would you want them in Ukraine?? What use are they when the local lads are doing such a great job. Locals know the land, speak the language and are well integrated into existing 3C....this is a meat grinding war not something that you'd put your best trained troops into....I've no idea who your lad Malborodot or whatever his name is but this story is a pile of crap.

 

It's definitely true that some elite US-UK troops have been on the ground since the beginning of the conflict.

Quoting a French intelligence source, a reporter from leading French daily Le Figaro has revealed that the highly-trained special forces from the United Kingdom and the United States have been stationed in Ukraine since Russia launched its 'special military operation' in the region on February 24.

As the UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson met Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in Kyiv on Saturday and pledged to stand by the people of the country, Georges Malbrunot, a senior reporter for Le Figaro, highlighted the presence of elite military units in the eastern European nation.

"Boris Johnson's visit to Kyiv confirms London's place as Ukraine's first ally. “Elite SAS special forces units have been present in Ukraine since the beginning of the war, as have the American Deltas,” confides a French intelligence source," tweeted Malbrunot.

"The Russians don't ignore it, they know what the secret war is," he added in another tweet quoting his unnamed source as the newspaper included their reporter's input in their updates on the ongoing conflict.

 

This is a giant MEH for me.

Either the story is BS or the legitimately constituted government of Ukraine has invited soldiers from another nation onto its soil.

Watching our little Putinista contingent jump up & down about this while their nation illegally occupies huge swathes of Ukraine & illegally places soldiers there is genuinely funny.

 

FORMER US military special forces have been going to Ukraine and training Ukrainian soldiers. That is absolutely true. And they are free to do so.

One interviewed, a special forces retired soldier, said this is the first war where he felt 100% right about what he is doing. This is a clear case of good against evil. And for once he knows he is 100% on the side of good.
