Its going to take a long time for this country to heal after the left weaponized a natural disaster and stripped people of their rights. It should have always been about individuals protecting themselves in a manner they see fit. We knew by Summer of 2020 that lockdowns and masks did nothing but slow down the inevitable. We knew almost immediately that the vaccine did nothing to stop the spread.
I am glad to see the poster recognize what a good job was done with dealing with the virus. Over a million deaths in the US alone and now it has been reduced to +/- 350 a week. and a much simpler set of suggestions (not rules) by the CDC. I also think we should thank those that helped tame this disease by following guidelines and getting vaccinated in the last 2 years. It was unpleasent, but we have achieved a lot.

I think, and I’m just spitballing here, it means we have a handle on it due to vaccinations as well as people who got it likely built an immune for the other lesser variants. That’s just a guess as I’m not a medical or science expert like everyone else on this forum.
