    YOu really need to get off the bad habit of sticking your foot squarely in your mouth.

    Nuclear docs fall under 'restricted data' which is governed by regulation and protocols per SEC. 10 CONTROL OF INFORMATION under the Atomic Energy Act.

    The president has no authority to classify RD docs because they exist outside the classification regime. Any attempt by any unauthorized person (per

    So think about it, do we really want a guy like Trump to walk around with nuclear documents, you know, the same guy who bragged about grabbing women by the crotch? You think the Atomic Energy folks are stupid?

    Do you really think the framers of the constitution, if they were remotely able to forsee Atomic Nuclear data they wouldn't have modified the constitution?

    I mean, sometimes, RodB, you gotta use your brains.

    The FBI does not comment on ongoing investigation... how do you know what documents they have? No one else knows the answer, would you care to share... please leave the WaPo unnamed sourced articles at he door.

    The president and vice president are the ultimate declassifying authority of the U.S. government and through executive orders most recently issued in 2003 by George W. Bush and Barack Obama in 2009 that specifically exempt the president and vice president from having to follow the stringent declassification procedures every other federal agency and official must follow.

    The FBI. was looking for Secret documents - they left Trump and his lawyers a list of items taken, including the Secret documents. That's coming
    from official documents delivered to Trump and released to the public under a judges order - not some left wing source.

    Two of the three code violations in the warrant, especially the Espionage Act violation, do not depend on classification, they depend solely on damage assessment.

    If indicted and then convicted, he will not be allowed to hold public office of any kind.

    The truly amazing thing is the Republican Party is so thin on talent that so many Republicans could only see running someone who
    was convicted of mishandling government documents and was impeached twice and lost his office to a demented old man ...

    The course that should have been followed would be subpoenaing the documents...There is no proof there was anything in any box or folder... it was never verified by anyone. It is a list that can't be proven.. The lawyer Christina Bobb was only shown the warrant and told to stand outside... She signed off on marked boxes/folders , never allowed to look inside...

    This judge represented Epstein’s employees - nowhere near the association Trump had and while you are denigration people do you want to explain why the judge who gave Epstein such a light slap on the wrist and set him loose to commit further predation was given a plumb government job by Trump?

    The course that SHOULD have been followed was that Trump returned ALL of the documents when he was first asked and he returned
    PART of the documents. Ain't rocket science dude - Trump brought this 100% on himself by thinking the rules didn't apply to him. It
    doesn't help that he's got a horde making paltry excuses for his laziness/deception. Get ahold of yourselves. He's not some god to be
    worshipped - he's just rich dude with attitude problems.

    Federal agents served a grand jury subpoena and recovered sensitive national security documents from former President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago property in June. There is no reason to not take them all as the FBI and NARA have known for 19 months where they were...

    Trump's attorney stated back then that they given the FBI ALL the boxes. It appears that an inside informant let them know that such
    was not the case and then they moved in. I will not make any final judgement until we find out if that were the case. The truth is they found
    more documents (classified or not) that were supposed to be in the National Archives. The were in effect STOLEN from the people
    and history of the nation.

    Mementos and other records are part of the Presidential Records Act and are defined within the definition of presidential records in said act.

    As part of impeachment per the title, no, not even close because there were no high crimes committed that you can prove legally.
