We were talking about Congress and you dragged the goal posts to everywhere but Congress, so it seems you like to complain for the sake of complaining.

    Carry on corporal.

Okay, removing the actions of non-elected partisans out of the discussion, we have second amendment rights they work to erode. Bboth parties are hypocrites on this issue. Reps would deny ones right to bodily autonomy if she wants an abortion and Dems would deny her the right to protect her body with a firearm.

Let me know when it happens. I don't care about the whining and crying because I know we are going in the opposite direction than you think in regards to 2A. If you hate CA so much, then why don't you move out? Are you a masochists?

Hate only hurts the hater. I only have love for my fellow Americans regardless of party. Having open eyes and observing results is not the same thing as hate.

I grew up poor in Los Angeles. I am old enough to remember government cheese. (It was actually pretty good!) I am fortunate to earn a good living and to have raised my 5 kids in a safe neighborhood. I love snowboarding, surfing, riding my motorcycle through the canyons, camping, hiking, golfing, and target shooting. I love my life in California and have deep roots here.

Observing damage caused by irresponsible politicians does not mean I am consumed by politics or that I allow it to control my emotions. CA is great. Politicians, not so much!

On the 2nd amendment, we are going in the right direction. Thanks to a recent ruling, ordinary citizens will be issued CCWs in L.A.

I said nothing about hating "fellow Americans", I said if you hate California so much, then why do you live there. All you ever do is complain about it.

Where is your link lying about dems taking away your guns, body autonomy, or even first amendment right?

There is no vaccine mandate, there is no mask mandate, Republicans are today actively passing laws in Texas where even in the case of rape or incest a woman can't get an abortion. Biden is easing up on prohibition, where as Texas still outlaws pot, and throws you in prison for possession.

Twitter banning your account or college campuses having safe zones isn't a violation of free speech from the government, Republicans are today and currently passing qanon styled policy banning books, and attacking corporations using the state.

Dems arnt taking your guns, Trump infringed more on the second amendment then any dem has in the last 15 years.

    Nice try.

Perhaps the NYT is just trying to frighten their constituents to make sure they get out and vote

I would steal their wages and force them to pay for products that make people sick. I would also use their wages to reward big corporations for their campaign contributions. I will call it, Medicare!

In other words, you'll let them die in typical Republican fashion and fire them to hire new ones.

I am not a republican and support caring for those who can not care for themselves. The "Caring and helping" is the sales pitch. The product is record levels of profits and record levels of illness.

Can you make the case that Americans are healthier as a result of record spending on "health care" and consumption of pharma products?

No, I make the case for the total opposite. We spend far more than other countries that all have subsidized health care and still have among the worst health care in the world

Because Republicans have constantly blocked any imitations of other nations' systems that have been tried

Interesting. Obamacare is still running strong in California. Republicans have no voice there. Can you make a case that people are healthier in CA?

Obamacare is possibly the worst subsidized healthcare system in the entire world, certainly the worst in a large and rich country. That is entirely because of Republican opposition to ANY subsidized healthcare system even their OWN. Obamacare is popular there because it is the only healthcare system we have at the present.

Interesting, the way your allegation against Dems, assuming it were true, would be the inversion of the way, top REPUBLICAN lawmakers, have treated TRUMP'S ROLE, IN the JANUARY 6th "incident."

The reason its the worst if because it is based on profits for campaign contributors. Dems don't care about your health any more than Reps. Its about power. IF the system was based on actual results, it would cost a fraction of what is spent now and Americans would be healthier.

You don't pay very close attention to this stuff, do you?

THE MSM touted a Democrat comeback just last August

Democrats are leading Republicans by 4 percentage points on a generic congressional ballot, according to a new poll.

A Politico-Morning Consult poll released Wednesday found 46 percent of registered voters would choose the Democratic candidate compared to 42 percent who would choose the Republican if the election for Congress was held in their district today.

Twelve percent either said they did not know or had no opinion.
