One of the bridges over the river has been "fixed" with a barge acting as the missing section of bridge. It is clearly with in Ukraine's ability to destroy this bridge again but they seem to have decided bot to do so. It appears Ukraine wants this escape route open so the Russians leave on their own and Kherson doesn't get destroyed in urban fighting.

I suspect all 25,000 Russians trying to go over one choke point (the bridge) will also allow Ukraine to pound the crap out of Russian forces as they line up to cross. I anticipate pretty heavy loses for the Russians as they flee.

My guess is Zaporizhzhia will be the next major offensive. Ukraine won't want to assault across the Deniper River as it is so wide and deep but attacking the land bridge along the Azov sea towards mariupol means they can be on both sides of Kherson oblast and thus squeeze the Russians out towards Crimea.

Yep...hopefully their rear guard gets pounded...a few thousand more dead orcs won't hurt my feelings.

I'll hazard a guess there'll be numerous mass grave sites once liberated....sad to say.

    98% support....my a$$....

I would guess Mariupol would be a macabre site to see...with all the destruction.

I wonder how @Jeannette feels about it, assuming it is capable of feeling anything.

Knowing her I suspect she would claim Ukrainians actually destroyed their own city. Something along that line.

Yep, that or something along the lines of Ukraine using human shields, leaving poor Russia no choice but to level the whole city and bomb that building clearly marked "CHILDREN"
