I started to question religion in my early 30's and now at 84 not many questions any more. George says so much of what we've been told to believe and do etc etc
I am currently reading his last book. I love that as he aged he became increasingly critical of both the right and the left. He certainly leaned left yet he had the audacity to speak against his own tribe. I respect that!
Carland’s routines make us laugh often because his observations of hipocracy an inanity are spot on. His couple routines regarding religion represent some of the best critiques of religion on par with Hitchens.
