    Germany is set to send its sought-after Leopard 2 tanks to Ukraine to help bolster the country’s war effort, Der Spiegel reported on Tuesday evening, attributing to unnamed sources. German Chancellor Olaf Scholz has decided to deliver the battle tanks following “months of debate,” according to the German news outlet’s exclusive report.

    The German parliament is due to debate the contentious issue on Wednesday morning. Deciding to send them would be a landmark moment in the West’s support for Kyiv that follows days of intense pressure on Berlin from some of its NATO partners.

    CNN reached out to the German government for comment on Tuesday evening but has not received a response.

    Poor, Bill. He was wrong yet again. Both Germany and the U.S. will be sending main battle tanks to Ukraine.



    Switzerland will also be sending tanks, ammo, anti-aircraft systems and even talks about training fighter pilots.

    Ahh, you seem to be coping hard, man. Why do all of the Putinist always first rage and threaten nuclear war if certain items are sent then when these perfectly reasonable items get sent they immediately claim it doesn't matter, those items always sucked, and so they never really cared?

    Putinist? Coping? People like you make me laugh. Vet you say? I don't care. Your knowledge of the shithole of ukie land is what it is, vet or not. You know what I'm doing? I'm laughing. I'm laughing at NATO being shown for what it is. Russia hasn't even put their mobilized troops in action yet but the ukropians and nato mercs are being destroyed by Russian contractors and LPR/DPR civilians (aka Ukrainians who oppose nazis and dictatorships).

    A couple dozen pieces of iron aren't gonna make a damn bit of difference. It's over. It has been over since the get go.

    Lol! The mobilized untrained and poorly equiped "troops" went into Ukraine just days after getting nabbed off the streets. They are just dumped their to die. Guess what? They are not going to fair well.

    NATO mercs? Huh? Oh... the two or three guys in the paper... ok. Ukraine has been kicking butt since the first day when that huge Russian column lined up on the road to Kyev and parked bumper to bumper as they got clobbered by American made Javelins. The Russian Army has demonstrated its total incompetence.

    Personally, I hope this war continues until there isn't a Russian or Ukrainian Soldier left. The world will be a better place. Actually, we should stop wasting our money in Ukraine and let both sides knock each other out. Ukraine has nothing of value for anyone and Russia is an evil player. Let them knock each other out. Let's stop adding to the effort with our aid to anyone involved.

    Ukraine has a foreign volunteer corp just like France does, just like Russia tried to set up (but no one wanted to join it except a few Africans who Russia abandoned). They are not remotely mercenaries but are members of an official armed forces branch of Ukraine. Putin's propaganda has been to lie and pretend they are mercenaries and we see the paid Putinist propagandists here dutifully repeating that old lie.

    Do you notice how when they get called out and their propaganda lies get exposed how they get angry and rage? Yet this is the best Putinist propagandists can come up with. They are wasting their money because no one believes their lies because they are just so outlandishly bad.

    Russia is completely unable to build them and their few prototypes are so buggy and bad they break down during parades in Moscow. This is despite working on the tank for 20 years.

    I heard they had some rolling around in occupied territory, though. I guess it's a question of whether they decide to try using them or evacuate them when the Ukrainian offensive arrives.

    It goes beyond that in my opinion. MAGAS liked Russian interference at the same time that they denied Russia interfered. There was one Congresswoman who was against FDR’s request for a declaration of war against Japan and Germany even after Germany declared war against us. Prior to Pearl Harbor the “America firsters” were opposed to any U.S. involvement even against Lend Lease to Great Britain. Of purse during Vietnam war it was the Lefto Bangers who jumped in to oppose that war. I believe that Senator Church was the only or first Republican to jump ship. McGovern a Democrat who was a combat bomber pilot in WWII surprisedly opposed the Vietnam war.
