I’d like to see you document/prove that. But I don’t think you can.

Just read the reports of looters and criminals being active while the police are dealing with BLM demonstrators.

Yes there is that persistent lie out there that says BLM committed vandalism and looting too, and why? … Because somewhere across town or nearby or somewhere there were anarchists doing such things while BLM quietly protested in the streets. And why do people stretch the truth to incredulous proportions like that? … Usually, except for unthinking copycat dolts, it’s because they hate black protesters due to deep racism and hate and want very much to see them banned, shot, arrested, or jailed.

Blaming BLM is a purely racist act, so I’m glad you didn’t blame BLM! You just want BLM to police such things I guess.

So as I expected, you couldn’t prove your position.

As a veteran, I back both. However, both organizations do have bad apples. It’s much easier to get rid of a bad apple in the military as getting rid of bad apples in the police. I would say the reason is the police have unions and union protection for their bad apples. I also believe one can be pro-veteran and anti-police and vice versa. They don’t walk hand in hand. Both have their function, different functions. The big difference is the military is here to protect and defend the country. The military has little dealings with civilians as in enforces laws over civilians or apprehending civilians. The military does have their own police, but their authority is over the military and on military bases wherever. The police have daily contact with civilians and are charged with protecting civilians and solving crimes, arresting criminals, all in the civilian arena.

The history of reports in the media is roof of my point. Anarchists, criminals, and opportunists took advantage of BLM activity. I recall one case vividly in LA area that criminals started looting when police where engaged controlling a BLM demonstration blocks away. BML should have held a news conference before each demonstration and told those groups who plan to cause harm that BLM not only is not about violence and looting so is any criminal activity goes on it is not BLM. BLM needed to organize security squads and if bad guys left the peaceful demonstration and attempted to loot get the police after them if BLM kuldip not stop looters. BLM got smeared as criminals because they did not separate themselves from the criminals. BLM lost the argument when it did not condemn the stupid idea of “defund the police”. BLM let itself get smeared with “ defund the police”.

Yes I’m sure you’re well qualified to organize and run BLM “responsibly”.

It’s gross nonsense to fault BLM for opportunists who were in the area doing crime. Remember the Republican congressmen who assisted thugs to attack the Capitol? At least that was direct involvement, unlike BLM, yet do you blame those congressmen? I haven’t heard it.

Since you brought up Jan 6 here goes. There are two cases of Congressional involvement indirectly in the terrorist attack on our Capital. That idiot who raised his fist in support of the terrorists. Two there was another moron who gave a tour of the Capital a day before the attack. Apparently those private showing “ tourists” may have gotten the lay of the land so to speak. They should have been punished.

The real criminal of Jan 6 is of course the CIC- that is Criminal In Charge aka as Trump and his gang - Giuliani, etc He’s Trump and his gang of criminals should have been indicted.
I was embarrassed as a registered Republican and American I went dark from this site shortly after Jan 6. I returned about a year ago.

What kind of logic is that? How the hell is some soldier protecting America over in Vietnam or Irak?
