The demographics of the United States of America are slowly changing. The nation is slowly becoming less 'white' -- that is, less peopled proportionately by those of essentially European stock. The Democratic Party [Ed.: Note that's 'Democratic', not 'Democrat',] has attracted more non-white voters to its ranks than has the Republican Party. There are reasons this is so, including the willingness of the Democratic Party to accept 'identity politics' -- that is, recognition of different desires of different groups.

The Republican Party is still quite viable, though that viability rests on a peculiarity in our federal constitution -- the Electoral College -- and maneuvers such as the gerrymandering of voting districts. The slowly increasing imbalance in the relative number of voters in each party will in time prove to be overwhelming.

How the Republican Party changes its stance in the future will be interesting.

    Regards, stay safe 'n well.

The Democratic Party has done a superb job of convincing POC that the right is nothing but racists and bigots when the facts and history tell a different story.

We have been warned about the downfall of the GOP for decades.... yet, it doesn't happen.

    Hi, Lil Mike.

I posted facts. I'm not familiar with 'replacement theory'. Could you explain what it is and how it relates to the changing demographics of the United States of America, please?

    Regards, stay safe 'n well.

Dude, you conflate less whiteness in America with less conservative and less right winged values.

If we look at the demographics and the voter preferences, that's not a conflation but a given. The raw data's readily available.

You assume that non white people are stupid and will fall for anything.

Maybe they just are more impressed by things that have happened during their lifetime, than still giving credit for Abraham Lincoln.

Gladly, although based on your post I assume you know this.

In 2000 two Democratic Strategists wrote a book titled, The Emerging Democratic Majority.

    upload_2023-3-22_10-7-38.png

They posited that demographics were all coming up in the Democrats favor, both by increased urbanization and a large immigrant community, were going to swamp traditional Republican voters by their increased numbers. It was at this point that Democratic politicians, who often were not ashamed of criticizing illegal immigrants, like Bill & Hillary Clinton, and Chuck Schumer, began to slowly changed their tune and now regard immigrants, but especially illegal ones, as some sort of sacred deities, above both agency and criticism. That's replacement theory.

Interesting to note that Ruy Teixeira, had demurred somewhat on that thesis lately, and is worried that Democrats, by making a hard turn against the working class, are also attacking Hispanics and other recent immigrants, who are working class. He fears a populist GOP could steal voters from the Democrats, who are ignoring working class concerns.

Republican party is not changing any time. If you ask a moderate republican how to win election , they will say “ our message ( policy ) is good, we just need good messenger” ( Nikki Haley said this few weeks ago). They think their policy is good.

In Republicans head they have not lost a single election because of their policy. They think they lost 2008 because McCain was RINO, they think they lost in 2012 because Romney was a RINO. They will point out Trump the Great won because he is the real Republican who embrace real conservatism like banning Muslims coming in the country, calling all Mexican rapist and drug dealer, telling American citizen to go back to s$$ country where they came from because they have brown skin. They think a judge who’s parents are from Latin America can’t be a good judge ( judge Curiel). These are real conservatism and Trump the Great, champion of promoting these ideas past 7 years.

And as you know since 2016 in republicans’ head they never lost an election. it’s dead people, undocumented immigrant people voting for Democrat, Democrat are stuffing ballot.

If you think you are not loosing election and your message is good , why would you change anything?

The current republican party think Kennedy will rise and restore Trump to White House. Those who are not that crazy, well they think, dead people voting for Democrats. If you say these are all crazy people, moderate and sensible republican might want to address the issue of demography. Well moderate republican think “ our message ( policy ) is good, we just need good messenger”.

You are confusing republicans. You bringing up these liberal idea about demography, voter preference, what minority wants etc.

Make it more simple – dead people vote for Democrats. Undocumented immigrants vote for Democrats. these make sense. Build the wall and send all undocumented people back to their country. Problem solved.

If they aren't capable of researching the facts and believing the narrative of the left, they are in fact falling for a story driven by political aspirations of politicians not reality.

Ahh, so they desire to evaluate and take ideological stances on historic racism in this country based in the vacuum that is limited to just recent events? Got it. That makes total sense. /sarcasm

It’s strange y’all always say this but are unable to ever expose major instances of this happening. In fact — over the last few election cycles Republicans have been responsible for the vast majority of both election and electoral fraud.

Feel free to look at NC, FL, and WI for examples.

Do you have any examples for your claims?

    Hi, Lil Mike!

Thank you very much. I'll put that book on my 'to read' list.

How this will all play out in the next few presidential cycles remains to be seen. Unfortunately, I'll probably not be around to witness it.

    Regards, say safe 'n well.

    Hi, Endeavor.

How many actual documented votes were cast in the 2020 elections, federal, state and local, by undocumented immigrants and dead people? I've found scant evidence. I also have trouble understanding how building a wall at our southern border will solve the problem of those who come to this country on a visa and stay. Such people account for a large per cent of the undocumented immigrants in the United States of America.

    Regards, stay safe 'n well.

While what you say above is a common refrain that one hears from the left, I submit that it is based on faulty logic.

Currently, Democrats get 90% plus of the black vote. This near unanimity is in truth the only reason that Democrats get anywhere close to winning the presidency. With virtually every other voting block, their vote is determined by their specific income demographics, but with African Americans, they vote almost exclusively due to race.

If you project out to a future where minorities outnumber whites, it is perfectly reasonable to assume that blacks will no longer vote based on their race since they are no longer a minority, and will likely then vote based on their income demographics like virtually every other voting block. If you were to take the black vote down to a more reasonable split, lets say 65-35 for Democrats, that would be an environment that is highly favorable for Republicans.

It is for this very reason that Democrats will do everything in their power to never allow us to be a post-racial society. They currently do and will in the future continue to stir up racial tensions at every single opportunity. If blacks are in the majority at some undetermined point in the future, it is highly reasonable to assume that we will in fact be a post-racial society at that point. This would be bad news for Democrats. Your claims of this automatically creating an overwhelming obstacle for Republicans is overly presumptuous, to say the least.

He was talking about Republicans, not conservatives. Was he meaning to say "conservatives?"

I think your historical narrative is wrong and that there's no reason to label the Clintons and Schumer advocate replacing white people.

Maybe Democrats are captives of minorities (and women) and would walk away with the Presidency if they also looked out for poor white people. Republicans seem mostly inclined to look out for higher-income whites--witness their efforts to give 85% the 2017 personal tax cuts to people making $400,000 a year and their continuing effort to cut social programs.

I figure low- and middle-income whites are up for grabs after Trump promised and didn't deliver.

African Americans constitute 13.45% of the US population. If 90% of them vote Democrat, that would mean 12.06% of the population votes Democrat. What is more significant is their concentration in urban areas. when you crowd rats, both black ones and white ones they become agitated and crazy.

“it is perfectly reasonable to assume that blacks will no longer vote based on their race since they are no longer a minority”

“It is for this very reason that Democrats will do everything in their power to never allow us to be a post-racial society.”

This is why majority African American, Hispanic voter and other ethnic groups reject Republican party. Republican party thinks Minority and other Ethnic group can’t think for themselves and Democrats are using ‘Race card”.

You are so arrogant that you don’t understand that it is an insult to think that when African American became majority, they will not vote like today. It is an insult to any minority to think that they will change their view about how society should be when they became majority.

It is an insult to minority to think that Democrat can use “ race card” to draw Minority to Democrat.

Minority groups can make up their own mind which party has better policy and which party does not. That is why 90% African American support Democrat, 60% Hispanic Support Democrats , 64% Asian American support Democrats.

Let’s put up some facts first

90% African Americans vote for Democrats.

    60% Hispanic Vote for Democrats.
    upload_2023-3-22_14-36-3.png

    Younger generation overwhelmingly vote Democrat

    upload_2023-3-22_14-35-47.png

Young Minority vote Democrat even more
    upload_2023-3-22_14-35-23.png

Yong female voter vote for Democrats

    upload_2023-3-22_14-32-58.png

More then race it is the young generation who overwhelmingly reject Republican party. They reject republican party because republican party has no solution for 21st century problem. Republican party thinks banning books like they did in Germany in 1939 is going to keep them in power. Republican doesn’t believe in science, they think taking ivermectin, a drug for animal will keep you safe but not life saving vaccine.
